My wife was in the porn industry when she was you age. 18-19. Or so

I use to watch her on set when we were younger,
She would take me when they would shoot.

2 things i learned,

the sex is empty, It all about what the cameras see. And how it looks.

and Men make less than women in the industry.

it can be fun, And quite the adventure. But its not for everyone.

I know it happens, but I wish they would wait till 21. Maybe they would have a better grasp on things and realize the consequences. If you are staying in that long of work forever ok, but most don’t and it will come to Surface

Depends on why they are entering it. From my experience those that are going to do porn long term are nymphomaniacs. The sex in porn is not that good, but it's frequent. So only those that are addicted to sex or love it to the point where it may harm their life or relationships should do porn as a long term goal.
