I'm lost. Watching porn might help determine one's sexuality?
What on earth does porn have to do with someone's sexuality? I knew what sex I liked when I was 3 or 4. I didn't have to wait to view some fake-sex films to help me sort out my preferences.
I suppose everybody is different, but it takes very little effort to find out what excites a person sexually. If it's men, that's because you dream about them, your heart races when you see one you're interested in, you imagine or have been in love with a man. The same is true if it's women.
If anything, porn is a fantasy perversion of actual human sex and would more than likely confuse someone trying to sort out their feelings about sexuality.

I'd tend to disagree. In my early teens I already knew what I liked before I came across it porn by accident, some could say that I liked girls since nursery but was too innocent to know anything other than they looked nice.
If your hypothesis is that it shapes minds, i'd have to give you a solid No; but it can certainly amplify a preexisting attraction into a fetish or obsession if left unchecked.
To an extent yes but not necessarily, some people use porn as escapism and not necessarily aligned to their sexuality. Some people have fantasies that they don't actually want to act out in real life but porn gives them the ability to experience it to some degree. For example furry porn doesn't mean someone is actually in to bestiality, its just something they find visually stimulating.

Whenever I search a term the search engine finds too ambiguous, and I'm presented with a bunch of gay videos, to which I immediately shudder with disgust, I'm instantly reminded of what my sexuality is.

In the modern age, yes. Because sex has became more of a common topic among even kids under fifteen. I'm talking adults. Never came across a gay person.

Porn in my opinion does not change your sexual preference. Porn, however will introduce kinks and fetishes that you may not know you have.
I know it helps some people. Others just search for the porn that aligns with their interests.

It does, from the various genres you can find. Not only does it help to determine your sexuality, it also helps determine the totality of your sexual behavior, not like a source of influence, but rather like a sounding board.

(by the way, I am officially against porn, for religious reasons. But I'm also a libertarian. So please don't attack me if I say something that may be construed as supportive of the porn industry.)

Maybe if you live in isolation. I think for most people porn has little influence on that.
Porn is like a buffet, there are many choices and you have the opportunity to try different things and see what you like, if you like things on the spicier or exotic end then this hypothetical buffet may be your avenue to do a taste test.
I think porn help with discovering different things you're into sexually (fetishes etc..) not your sexuality.

I don't think that is true. I heard one of the sexual studies found that 70% of straight women prefer lesbian porn. So if you were in that cohort and using porn to determine your sexual orientation; you would end up with the wrong result. And that is just for straight women. How many other people's porn preferences deviate from their sexual orientation? Or even their sexual kinks?
