How long would a guy wait to have sex with a girl? would a guy eventually give up on a girl if they weren’t getting sex from her?

So we’ve all heard of how a guy will stay around & wait to have sex if he really wants something with you, whereas a guy who only wants sex with you will just cut you off if he doesn’t get it from you the first time.

I know it’s not that likely for a girl to make a guy wait forever to get sex, because eventually it automatically ends up happening once both sides are comfortable with each other, which doesn’t usually take too long I’m pretty sure.

However, just hypothetically, lets suppose a guy has been dating a girl for quite a long time & she still hasn’t tried to initiate sex, or has avoided the guys attempts to do it, would the guy eventually end up giving up & leaving her? Is there a time limit guys have as to how long they’d wait? Do they have rules where they say they’ll leave if they don’t get sex after a certain amount of time? Or would a guy really stay around & keep the relationship going with her even if the relationship seems sexless?

Realistically, most of us wouldn't date or deal with another person, if we weren't horny and wanting to get down. Waiting for a while is cool and respectable; but hey, at some point that's typically half of why all of us are into dating. I've been single for more of my life than not, so surely I don't need someone to keep me alive or exist on my own, so if it wasn't for the fact of getting horny, I'd probably not want to bother dating And it's more true than not that guys have a one track mind. Sex is what brings people together, and a healthy, fun relationship is what keeps them together, IMHO. You have to have both, I think. We can surely wait for a bit for the right girl, but sex has to happen; or yeah, I would move on eventually. "Maybe" 2 months would be a high limit?

weeelll if im dating someone religious who wants to wait untill marriage or she is a virgin or some other reasons why needs lots of time like she was raped etc i can wait but that needs to be communicated if im in serious relationship and she keeps turning me down without any explanation then it does make one feel not desired just a basic i just need lots of time to be comfortable with sex because of this and that

I don´t have a problem with waiting for it because I can´t have sex with a complete stranger either. For me there wouldn´t be much of a problem having a sexless relationship unless she sex with other guys behind my back. Because if she´s not pleased with me, I´d rather find a solution with her than being in such relationship.

That's going to depend entirely on the girl, now i feel the relationship is going, and how i feel about her. If I've tried on a few occasions to initiate it and she has avoided and declined, after a while I'm going to want to have a conversation about her feelings towards it, and find out where she stands before trying to make any decisions on moving on or sticking with it.

The guy would more than likely leave if he wasn't getting any sex, ESPECIALLY if she's had sex with other guys WAY sooner than with him. Because that is the most effective ways for a woman to tell a man that she loves and is attracted to him. That is gonna tell us that you're not all that into us, and therefore it would be pointless in our minds to continue a relationship with her. Why be in a relationship with someone who doesn't really like you all that much?

There's no set-in-stone rule, but eventually most guys will lose interest and move on, if no physical affection is on the table.

Not every guy needs sex, but most want/need some kind of physical affection to stay interested in a woman. The way she kisses is very telling about sexual compatibility.
