Is it bad to sext a guy, agree to a friends with benefits/ hook up, talk about it in detail then change my mind?

I just got cold feet as I’ve been celibate for 18 months to try find a serious boyfriend and I realised this guy is only trying to use me for my body which I was okay with as I thought just use him back then when I’ve reflected on how long I’ve been trying to find something real or at least exclusive before I break my celibacy I realised I’d just be throwing it away out of a window for someone that will probably ghost me and never be in a relationship with me

Superb Opinion

  • Everybody is entitled to change their mind, and whilst it's not great for him, that's life and he just has to deal with it.

Most Helpful Guy

  • You are leading him on, It would be like if your dream Guy asked you out on your dream date and told you the next day he changed his mind you wouldn't be happy about, You would probably think it was cruel and it pretty much is.

Most Helpful Girls

  • If you've changed your mind the decent thing to do would be to let him know, and why because you don't know for sure that he would ghost you.

  • No, there is zero wrong about changing your mind! It is your body and your decision.

    • I just feel bad like I let him down or lead him on. But I guess what would be worse if I go and realise last minute I don’t want to do it when we’re face to face and it’s a bad and awkward encounter. I guess it’s best to just stop replying to him and he’ll get the hint

    • I agree with your plan. Best to deal with it now if you are as unsure as you seem. You don’t want to have a regret from it.

  • Tell him you decided you decided that friends with benefits won’t work. That if he wants

  • That’s misleading

  • It's not bad, but it sucks for him.

  • Are you religious?

  • It's okay, but tell him why, don't ghost him.

  • No. It's not an actual relationship. Granted you're only fucking yourself..

  • Nothing wrong with changing your mind

    • I just feel like I lead him on or something I know he likely won’t be mad for long and will just move onto the next person but I feel it’s a shitty thing to do

    • It would be worse if you kept sexting him after realizing you don't want to have a fling with him

  • If want boyfriend there guys that love to be don't settle for less

  • Yes ofcourse

  • Nothing wrong with changing your mind it happens

  • Wait--do you mean those giant juggs haven't been played with for a year and a half?
