Do you think people watch porn because they have yet to be fully sexually satisfied by someone?

I watched Don Jon today and wow that film was a trip. I didn't expect annoying ass Julianne Moore to become his fix for porn addiction. Clearly she was giving him something that not even Scarlett Johanssen could. I mean this old lady taught him how to make love and give up porn. I dont expect to ever be 100% sexually satisfied. So i’ll continue to watch porn from time to time but definitely not daily like Don Jon. I haven't faced that bad habit in many years and dont intend to go back

I guess I’m mainly referring to people like Don Jon who had a partner but didn't have sex the way you wanted so you continued watching porn. Like for me, when i dated 1 guy, the sex was great. However, i wanted it all day and he couldnt always go all day. So i’d sneak and watch porn while he slept. I got caught sometimes and he’d get mad. I wasn't addicted at the time but i watched because i wanted more then he could give. And i didn't even masturbate to it. Just the soundfx alone made me orgasm

  • I started watching porn because I´m infertile and I can´t properly. I can ejaculate but it´s not a full orgasm to me at least I doesn´t feel like one. So I wanted to know what I´m missing expecting porn to help me unterstand what sex is and how it´s performed.

  • Interesting question... I really cannot speak for other people, but I can speak for myself.
    As for me, I watch porn every now and then if I'm single. Not because I need it, but just because it can sometimes spice up solo-masturbation.

    Or if I'm in relationship or have friends with benefits, I watch it NEVER-to-RARELY, as I'm getting my sexual drive and need taken care of by my partner, so any use of porn would be unnecessary. When I say rarely, I mostly refer to watching porn along with my partner.

    As for other people, well I can only speculate they watch porn because - they find "real" sex boring so they need to watch "fake" sex, their sexual need is not satisfied with their partner or, and unfortunately the most common one - they're addicted to it.
