No, it isn't best. After a lot of research before we did it first time, we found that laying on a dining table or similar was best. Hang your bum over the edge. Lift your knees as high as you can towards your shoulders. That tends to open the entrance, just as it does when a guy has a prostate exam.

Your guy stands on the floor and has a choice of which entrance to go in. Use loads of lube. Make sure your guy washes thoroughly straight after, if he goes in bare back.

I wouldn't be doing anal in doggy for thr first time, if you like thay position then get in doggy and then drop you ass down so your knees are folded under you. Basically you want your knees as close to your chest as possible so your ass is sticking out. Other position that allow that are spoons with your knees tucked in to your chest. Your getting in a position where the Puborectalis muscle relaxes and allowes the ass to open freely.

Prone bone is my favoritte because it frees up both my hands to touch her wherever I want. Spooning is also nice for similar reasons.
