Urethritis or uti?

Ok so basically on either January 9th or 10th I was masturbating ( my hands are always washed beforehand ) almost everytime , so anyways after I masturbated I felt a slight tingly pain ( like it burned but didn’t burn if that makes sense ) . I’ll give an example of how it physically felt to me

So I had went to the doctors on January 11th I believe and explained it to my doctor , he said it sounds like a case of urethritis. I haven’t ever had sex or done any of that. Anyways I was supposed to give him a sample during that appointment but my appointment was at 10:45 but they didn’t call me back until after 11 and didn’t get seen until almost 12 ( ridiculous I know ) anywayssssss. Long story short I find out that I could’ve given them a sample but the lady left the lab around 11 so CONTINUED Below

So fast forward I believe the 18th I went to labcorp and had gotten bloodwork done and was SUPPOSED to get a urinalysis done but I got nervous and couldn’t bring myself to provide a sample ( this was on a Tuesday The 18th) and so on Thursday ( the 20th ) I had brought in the sample. I haven’t felt really any side affects just a slight tingle when I go to pee that’s it ( my urine has either been clear or yellow ) . I’ve drank bottles of water and glasses of water. I’ve been peeing between 2-4 times a day as of late. Should I be worried. I called yesterday 1/25/21 to see if they had gotten my results for my bloodwork and urinalysis.

Could be both… Both are treatable and nothing to really worry about!
I think once they get the results back, they will prescribe antibiotics to help rid of the infection.
A feelings of tingling and frequent urination is common with both.
Just make sure you’re more careful being clean down there, I suppose. Women get them a lot more often than men because of our anatomy, so I’m not really sure how it works for men lol.

Yeah it’s just been a couple weeks and I haven’t been treated with antibiotics yet or anything. I’m just scared is all. I never had something like this happen before. This is probably slightly irrelevant to the convo but my dad had been sent to the hospital for a uti in December but he also had problems with his legs and what not he got cellulitis which turned into sepsis and he died. So I guess it just made me think about this a little more ( definitely very scary ) . If I was to contract sepsis wouldn’t that happen quickly or does that build up over time?

So sorry to hear that. I think you should make an appointment or go into urgent care and have them try to do it, if you can. I think you have every right to be worried, I now see why. I also think bloodwork results may take some time. I am not too sure about sepsis. I think it spreads slowly overtime. I may be incorrect. Best option is to try to go into urgent care to see if they will do a urinalysis test, and keep calling for the results.

Yeah. I mean I went on the 18th to get blood and urine done and then I couldn’t provide the urine sample the same day so I handed it in 2 days later so yeah

I have had something like that lately. You don't feel anything when you come , then after it burns a little then stops. I have no clue why. If cum is heavier , it doesn't sting at all. I assume it is something to do with cum thickness. I am not a doctor.

I already have. I submitted it two days later. I had an appointment on the 18th for bloodwork and a urinalysis and I submitted my urine sample 2 days later

I’m just waiting back for my results. I feel a slight tingling sensation before I pee and sometimes while I pee. Not too bad of a feeling and not the best. I went for bloodwork and a urinalysis on the 18th provided bloodwork that day but not the urine sample , urine sample was handed into another location 2 days later. Not sure if I have a UTI or urethritis. Doctor said it sounds like urethritis and not a typical uti as far as I can remember. This feeling only started after self pleasure
