Is it normal for guys to not be super excited about sex stuff?

I’ve always been under the impression that when guys go to strip clubs, wild parties with a lot of sex, etc. that they’re always super hyped up and energized and excited. I have had two MMF-threesomes recently & The two guys that were invited to join my friends with benefits didn’t seem all that thrilled. Neither had done a threesome before, so I thought they’d all be like, “man this was the best experience ever…. this is so awesome”, etc.

Maybe I’m just bad at sex. Or is it normal for guys to not get hyped about that sort of thing? In movies whenever you see guys go to strip clubs or frat parties, they’re always cheering and pumping their fists in the air and all that stuff. I guess I just figured there’d be more enthusiasm. It’s really made my self-esteem take a huge dive.

Well the frat boy strip club thing is more Hollywood than anything else. Yes guys get excited over naked women.

But a MMF Three is not one of those things, especially if its their first time they are super nervous and performance anxiety takes over. In general guys get a hell of a lot more out of a FFM... and most guys get nervous about their junk being that close to some other guys junk... and it hard to off when another guys penis is that close and exposed.

I have never done a MMF and I probably never will.

Some guys like to conceal how badly they want it through actions or words to not appear "desperate", or they just aren't as expressive. I'd have to maybe understand how the acted that maybe gave you the impression they weren't excited. I almost guarantee that they enjoyed it more than you think they did.

They were emotionless. There was no smiling/laughing/cheering each other on like they do at Spring Break parties, frat houses, in porn, etc. Even when they left, there was no expression…. it was just “thanks for inviting me over” and they left.

Without getting too graphic, did they "finish"? I think real life might be a lot less glamourous than what we imagine sometimes. This might be one of those cases. Did the guys know each other before hand? I don't know. I think maybe next time if you want to do it again, look for a couple of friend or guys that might be more comfy with each other. I've only done MMF with a close friend and doing it with a random dude I didn't know would make me less inclined to be warm towards him.

No idea. I personally always find MFMs exciting.
Admittedly, I've done them with guys who didn't seem as excited to be there.

Men's egos are quite fragile, a lot of guys are so insecure that their mind is more preoccupied with the other man and not coming in contact with him than they are with actually having sex with the woman.

That's exagerated in the same way girls in porn isn't a realistic representation. If you want to know what they thought, just talk to them. Have you thought that maybe MMF isn't something they really wanted, but were willing to do it because you wanted to?

It actually was not my decision. My friends with benefits wanted to do an MMF threesome and was the one who went out and found these guys. I don’t know where he found them, but he was the one that sought them out
