Is it true that curvy women aren't the ideal type of woman for most guys?

The reason I'm asking this is because I literally just wanna know if it's true. I'm obviously not talking about morbidly obese women claiming to be "curvy", I mean genuine curvy girls. I consider myself curvy.

I have somewhat big boobs but I don't know if a C cup really counts. I have an ass, I have thicc thighs (not thunder thighs), and my belly isn't really "fat", I just have a tiny bit of chub that I'm trying to consistently get rid of.

No guys have ever found me attractive in person. I have gotten compliments online, though. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I try to be friendly, likable, and cordial, but guys only seem to like the skinny, small boob girls. I constantly feel insecure about the way I look. It's not like I don't exercise, I do at least 3-4 days a week. My build is very similar to the girl below:

A lot of guys like curvy women. Others like 'just fat girls'. There is even a term for that kinda women by calling them "BBW" (not safe to google at work!)
I happen to be a guy who prefers a curvy woman over a skinny one.

And I'll let u in on a secret. There are a LOOOOOOOOT of women who has the perfect figure who are still insecure about their appearance. So stop worrying.
I'd say, don't actively go looking for a guy, cuz a lot of times you'll end up attracting the wrong kind.
Just take ur time, continue ur life and then love will just "happen" to you.

This is a bit tricky.
There are guys that legitimately love curvy women, but there are also ones who have a kink for curvy women.
It also honestly depends on the type of "curvy" we're speaking about because someone with a body similar to Kim Kardashian are considered curvy, but also women who have the similar body of lizzo are also considered curvy and either or can make a huge difference when talking about this.
I do think that it is more popular to go after curvy women women who are shaped like Kim K dating, sex wise, etc. especially considering that that is the new beauty standard of today and the preferred body type, than a more plus sized woman such as someone like lizzo who I tend to see many guys only go for because of some strange sexual benefit or as a deep dark fetish.

If you have the face to go w that body then I’d love a bite of that. There are plenty of us men out there who like that type of body. Sometimes maybe we’re just intimidated to talk to her, maybe we may think she’s already taken. There’s a number of reasons. I grew up around a lot of Hispanic women, boy do they have curves for days. That is what I love. I’m not saying I’d kick a skinny hot girl out of my bed if she was in it, I just prefer women who have curves. That girl there may be a little thick but I’d still be ok w that. To me curves would be someone like Salma Hayek, especially when she was younger. If only we could see what you looked like that would help out a lot.

Nothing wrong with the physique in the picture, sounds like you have some bad luck meeting guys IRL. From the comments and your question, sounds like there are a lot of guys who like that shape, just might just not be the sort guys you normally go for.

You are fine young woman if you can keep everything firm like the woman in the picture. The issue with being thicc is that over time things start to sag. That isn't exactly a bad thing us guys sag too, but if you are trying to pick up young men, you may look older than you are. If you are a big and tall guy you kind of worry about some of these small girls. It is no fun if your stuff doesn't fit.

It depends largely on your opinion of "curvy'. To me, it's always been the supper model type! Nice ass, sexy legs, big gorgeous tits; somebody that's got lots of curves! To most people today, curvy means fat!!

I would say that it is true. But simply for the reason that the definition of the term "curvy" is slowly shifting from meaning: "a woman that has a well defined hip/waist line and/or nice boobies" (hour glass shape), to meaning: "fat or chubby".
