No that isn't how evolution works, it has been a whole group of animals who has evolved together. If it's just one they have a tendency to die out. Because of bad inbreeding if not just bad luck. So that eve isn't really a eve it's just a first person getting a mutation. It is not like the X-men where one thing completely change the species.

Well if there would only be me as a male, it would be far better than if there was only a woman left, especially a older one.

However I would never get this info because the world is to big. But I guess I would get more female attention but I would also live in the ruins of a old civilization that collapse because of the lack of men running it.

Repopulate the earth? Well, the first generation is easy. I'd happily sow my seed, and I seem good and getting women pregnant. But the trouble then comes on second generation. Either I'd have to have sex with my daughters, or my sons would have to have sex with their sisters.
