How to get my wife to permanently switch to thong-style bikini bottoms?


I got married last summer. My wife had never worn a thong bikini bottom. After unsuccessfully insisting for days on her trying a plain black one which I had bought before our holidays, she tried it for one short dip in the sea on the last day of our vacation. I was hooked and could not stop admiring her bum! However, she disappointed me by saying that she felt "very naked" and that she will not wear it again. I got frustrated. If only I could see her naked buttocks on the beach again...

She dislikes being on display and she does not easily follow fashion trends, e. g. she does not own a crop- top and has not ever thought of piercing her navel, although most women her age have already got one...

My wife comes from a small town by the sea in central Greece. She is a 29-year-old lawyer and an only child. Her parents are retired teachers. She mostly dresses in a professional formal way (with suits etc.), due to her presence in trials. She wore a thong bikini last year for the first time in public in a crowded beach in Greece. Most girls from 15 to 40+ years old in that beach were wearing a brazilian/thong bikini bottom! It is the trend in Greece since 2008! She usually wears thong underwear. However, she felt more of self-conscious and overexposed in a thong bikini rather than more liberated, free and sexy... I can't get the view of her bum in a thong bikini at the beach out of my head...

  • In all due respect to you my friend, please let your wife do what she's comfortable with. Maybe you can I think about her in a different way, but if she's not having a good time or happy or hacing fun or feels uncomfortable it's not going to help you out either. It's possible too that a lot of other women on the beach feel the pressure to wear a thong but would rather not. Letting your wife make her own decision without her feeling the pressure is going to be better for your relationship.. and maybe you'll have more "fun" once you get off the beach, given that she's able to wear what she wants, if you get what I'm getting at😏

  • She never wore a thong bikini before you married her. No reason to expect her to expose more publicly after marrying her. And you should have known her well enough to understand her beliefs about such things before marrying her. It is a little late now!

  • I think that she'd obviously very self conscious and embarrassed. Maybe she would be more receptive if she wore it in private without other people staring at her. Have you thought about going on vacation where the room has a private spa? I'm sure she'd wear it for you then.

    it’s her choice on what she wears and that’s it, trying to change it will just fuck up the marriage.
