in my opinion, there's some blame on both sides.

First, let's start with the fact that adult conventions have an 18-year-or-older requirement. If a 15-year-old girl is meeting Ron at a con, she shouldn't have been there in the first place. Which is not to say that underage girls don't sneak into places where they aren't legally allowed - but there are REASONS they aren't legally allowed.

Second, Ron has been doing cons for 30 years, and for 30 years, when he's posed with women for pictures (and typically there's a line of women waiting to take pics with him - he's often got the busiest table at the con), he grabs their tits or their ass for the pictures - in front of everyone in line and anyone else watching. That's his schtick, and anyone who is surprised by this just aren't paying attention.

Third, Ron is an idiot and his behavior has put him at risk for a LONG time, and it was bound to catch up to him. At the very least, he should have had a warning sign posted at his signings warning of this "normal" behavior, and should have allowed women to decide if they wanted a "clean" or a "dirty" picture (and he should have absolutely respected their choice). But Ron is notoriously cheap, and he'd have had to spend $50 to make a sign and another $50 for a stand, and then he'd have to carry it with him, and he couldn't be bothered. Because of his laziness and cheapness, he's now in prison. Like many who thought he would keep getting away with it, he learned otherwise.

As for adult women (whether they are 18 or 50) choosing to accept money to have sex with him, that's their own business. Plenty of porn stars have had a "no Ron Jeremy" clause in their contracts, but plenty of others, when offered $1500-2000 to do a scene with him will jump at the chance.

Keep in mind that the average male porn star is in his 40s, it's not all that strange, though Ron IS kind of an exception. He's a legend, but he's also too old and too fat to still be performing.

I don't know why this post isn't getting more traffic but I'll weigh in. I have to admit I don't know all the details of the story or how much these young porn starlets knew about the accusations of him being a known offender but I would imagine if they are in the porn world that they probably knew more than even the average porn viewer in the public.
