What would be your reaction if you find out that your mom wears thong?

I know most people from different countries and culture won't think it's a big deal. But as an Indian middle class family, wearing thong is kind of a big deal even for young girls. When i started wearing thongs i had to keep them hidden but when my mom found out she never said anything to me about it, she acted so normal. ( which is not so common for Indian moms lol)
Later on i found out that even my mom wears thong and couple of them are too sexy lol.
I am not too much bothered or mad by this but it kind of feels weard knowing my mom dress in such way.

I’ve done my families laundry, when i lived at home, and I absolutely KNOW my mom wears thongs! WHAT THE HELL is this obsession with women's underwear all of a sudden? Who cares what women, (or men for that matter) wear under their clothes? Thongs are usually worn to prevent panty lines with certain skirts, dresses, leggings, and skin tight jeans! Some women wear them to feel sexy… Who cares what underwear anyone wears least of all our mothers? My god, if you really DO you’ve your mother you would want her to have a full and rewarding sex-life! I know we don’t like thinking about it, but obviously your mom gets laid, or YOU wouldn’t exist! So leave mom alone, to let her freak flag fly, if thats what she wants! And get off her ass about thongs! (Pun absolutely intended!)

A funny story:

I had a friend from East Africa. She lived in a bulding complex that was having a rat infestation problem due to a nearby bread factory being recently demolished.

One day, her very East African father was taking out some laundry and came upon one of her thong underwear.

He started crying out asking God to save the family from the rats because they were even eating his daughter's underwear.

She had to explain to him that it was a thong and it wasn't the rats. He couldn't understand why his daughter would choose to have a string up her butt. 😄😄😄 It had me on stitches. Personally, I find thongs very comfortable.

Wearing a thong is not the worst thing to happen. I am from an indian household too, and it would have been a big thing if I was seriously immature. But if I found out that my mother wears, my reaction is going to be "Good for her". Wearing a thong can be seen as a healthy way of embracing your own body and I would proud of my mother for being so open to the option of a thong in the kind of household we are raised in.

Im from Pakistan n i can completely understand the thought process u are having rn... but the thing is she wears not shows off so its just what only your spouse can see so its all good in our tyoe of society even... and the fact that she isn't hiding em, maybe cuz in house its mostly girls/ladies and no male can see her collection

Mom is just another female being hence se has the option to wear sexy underwears. I can understand because you are looking at her as a mom but be broad minded and look her as another individual with choices and the perspective gets much better.

I understand, but you shouldn’t really feel weird about it. You should feel happy for your mum that she enjoys wearing them the same as you do.

I have always known that my mum wears lovely sexy underwear, or sometimes even none. It is no big secret. It should not be surprising that our parents can be sexy too otherwise we wouldn’t be here ha ha

My mom wears thongs. It’s no big deal. When I decided I wanted to try thongs back when I was a teenager, I was a little surprised she decided she would try them too, but haven’t really thought anything of it since then.
