A misadventure in sexting, or Do some women have a double standard when it comes to sexting (written vs. sharing lewds)?

So I was bored and horny as happens on occasion and I found myself flirting with a gal.

She was receptive, and the conversation even took a turn towards sexting. Out of the blue in the middle of things she brings up how she's in a relationship of two years, but could never ever do anything like sharing lewds, oh but sexting is totally fine?

So I'm like okay sure, whatever, and prepare to end the convo. Then she DMs back looking for more attention.

I figure that the boyfriend thing is probably just RP so I play up the whole cuckolding fetish thing, because I figure that's what she's going for, but I'm getting bored playing unpaid novelist over here so I figure I'll try to move things along and try to get some swapping going on.

Que "Schrodinger's dick pic", link with a flirty explanation of it being a lewd and not to look (playing into the fetish thing). Was hoping for some reciprocal attention I'd actually enjoy.

Being a link, nobody made her look, it's clear what it is and yet of course, she looks and decides to get super offended, and block me after having a melt down about how horrible I am despite having recently sent a panty tease pic.

Like WTF crazy chick. After that I'm thinking she wasn't just doing some fetish play RP and was just being trashy for real. And if that's the case it's funny that sexting is okay but lewds aren't? But hey, I have the penis so I'm the bad guy I guess. Alright then.

I've noticed that for whatever reason some (this isn't the first time I've run into something like this, lewds or not) women are happy to have custom erotica written just for them, but don't want to be entertaining in return.

Cognitive dissonance? Or is it reasonable for them to want to be entertained, while themselves being boring as hell?

I'm thinking it's time for a writer's strike ya know?

Superb Opinion

  • Sexting is often fantasy. Often, things which are said in sexting are by no means related to their actual feelings

Moral of the story: only roleplay if it gets you off. Don't do her a favour, play your own scene and enjoy. Probably a girl would love to play your scene (as long as it isn't too weird)

    • Agreed man, writer's strike it is lol

Most Helpful Guy

  • The fact that women can't even take 15 seconds to find a boob pic online and pretend that it is them is disappointing. After I spent 20 minutes writing a mini novel to get her off. Do they know how much harder it is to write things out on a phone is? They all seem to be narcissistic when it comes to sexting. I am betting her boyfriend used to sext with her but gave up on her greedy attitude. So that's why she wanted to take advantage of you.

    • Right, and the cliche is that men are selfish lovers. *Sigh*

Most Helpful Girl

  • That's not what cognitive dissonance means, by you or the cartoonist.

    • Why don't you explain what you think it means for the class then?
