I don't think it's all men. There are entire genres of "BBW" that many guys go for and most guys prefer slightly chubby over skin and bones. It's probably the guys you are after that aren't into that. Like how women aren't interested in guys that are under 6 foot.

"a woman with just a little belly or thicker thighs", sounds like an awesome combo. a lot of people tend to focus on the specifics of people's appearance including girls, but in reality that shit doesn't matter - our chemistry with someone does. if some person shits on you for your appearance its because they have unsettled issues themselves mentally.
you're not unfuckable and disgusting if you're any body type. try to get confidence in yourself even if you have fat on your body, because confidence is attractive to everyone. (fake it till you make it even if you want)
Just wasting time with the wrong men. Not everyone is everyone’s “cup of tea”. But there’s definitely guys who will like you how you are. And there’s always assholes out there and that won’t change. Just move on from anyone who doesn’t fit your vibe and appreciate you for you, and don’t give them another thought. Jerks don’t deserve your energy.

There are guys that like chubby or thiick girls. But all this is different from people to person. I use to like slim/athletic girls until I meet one that was truly a thicc girl. I still crush on her, she and I are friends. She has lost 30lbs over the past few years but she has remained thick. I love how she looks.
