How Do You Feel About The Job/Restaurant Hooters?

I used to go every day after work for lunch. I really do like the wings. After a short period of being regular, of course I got to talk to some of the different waitresses. Of course there was flirting occasionally. But the girls I met and the management were always friendly, kind, and attentive. I stopped going after I started dating my wife, but only because she asked. After 13 years, I picked up some wings to go for a superbowl party. I noticed the changes to the uniform, and although still nice to look at, I got the feeling as I stood there waiting for my order that the girls were not as comfortable with the look. I made sure to tip graciously the girl who took care of getting my order, and I maintained contact with her eyes as I sincerely thanked her for her work. Her face lit up as I for the first time that day someone treated her like a human and showed appreciation. I still don't go there out of respect for my wife. But I don't see anything wrong with the job or people who work there. When I did go, often times I felt it to be therapeutic, as in another situation I would have been too shy to say anything to most of the girls there.

I've only gotten to go twice in my life. Once when I was real little, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Another time last year when I went to Toledo, Ohio for a signing and then went there afterwards. It's a restaurant that bases its popularity on female attractiveness, but makes it known to the workers before they sign, they know what they're signing up for. Kids and families often visit, so it is not at all like a 18+ strip club. As for the stereotype that it's a place for girls to get harassed, no, not necessarily. Any workplace that doesn't tolerate that kind of shit is a good one, and the only Hooters I know is no different, and shuts any inappropriate behavior down immediately by warning and then banning the perpetrators.

I think I was at a Hooters many years ago. Obviously, it didn't impress very much. There is nothing about Hooters that would cause me to want to go there nor is there anything making me avoid Hooters. It's just one of many restaurants I don't visit.

I mean it's like most other sports bars in terms of subpar food and drinks. only key difference is the wait staff are mostly female and their uniforms can be seen as reveling to some. however not any worse then many girls on social media these days.

I've been there once and remember the nachos were pretty decent. But I was too young to appreciate the other "aspects" of the place.

The Tilted Kilt was better lol. In terms of food and the waitress' outfits haha.
