Your thoughts on the pathetic, pussy pigs who failed to do their jobs out of fear in protecting the children of Uvalde; is it time to defund the cops?

  • no, you stupid liberal, we need to get them more! more weapons, armor and vehicles!.. oh, for God's sakes! when the hell did we start accepting things like: ''I have all the material that would show my innocence but I won't submit it'' or, cops: '''we're not gonna do our job'' the public: ''let's give them more funding''... the values we got bashed over the heads as children have been shredded by the same adults that bashed it into our heads.

  • Uvalde's police reaction was predicted - not the place specifically, but that there was going to be an event where the police failed to take action as a result of the incredibly political, out-of-touch, unfair standards that the government was holding them to. When you blame cops for doing their job, and even send them to prison for doing so, you're going to create an environment where the cops are no longer willing to act. This is not the fault of the cops on the street, it's the fault of the politicians they work for, whether it's the local mayor, the state government, or the federal government.

Demanding cops risk being maimed or killed in order to protect people - but then holding them criminally liable for harm that comes to criminals who are in the process of committing serious crimes and threatening lives - is, of COURSE, going to result in cops that stand around and do nothing when it counts.

But it's worse then that, because even people who realize this is true very much WANT to believe that this was just an unintended consequence of people who put forth a misguided policy. IT WAS NOT. This was INTENDED. Chaos was INTENDED. Look at the months and months of continued rioting that occurred during 2020 - which was SUPPORTED by the government who took an oath to PROTECT the population from such problems - and did exactly the opposite. Kamala Harris raised money for organizations that bailed out rioters and pressured prosecutors to drop charges, so they could go right back on the streets and riot again. She was far from the only one who took such direct measures.

And this is only one of dozens of areas where the current government is completely going against their oath of office - which is to obey the Constitution and to protect and defend the rights of INDIVIDUALS (innocents, not criminals). It's not an accident and it's not misguided good intentions - it's very much deliberate. And if they can get people to cast blame towards the victims of these policies - like blaming the police for policies that the police don't set or control - so much the better for them.

They count on the fact that most people only look at the surface level of a problem, and as soon as people start explaining the details, their eyes glaze over and they would rather watch TikTok videos. They want you to remain naïve and gullible, because you'll blame the wrong people and support the evil ones - and feel GOOD about doing so!

Who cares if some children are killed by some asshole and the cops just stand around and do nothing? That just works in their favor.
