  • Not really, no. Generally, a "MILF" is a woman who is in her 30s that is still seen as sexually attractive, particularly by younger men - it's just that, until recently, women in that age range had usually had kids already.

A "cougar" is a woman in her 40 or early 50s that goes after younger men. Mid-50s and later is GILF or "granny" territory.

  • I never liked the word cougar for describing middle aged women who are sexually active and possibly interested in younger men. I think nowadays MILF is more a general term for that. And of course people are crazy about using the word Mommy for any particularly endowed woman who may be at least in her 30s, for the most part.

I laughed to myself when I saw on a dating profile a young lady stating that she aspired to be a MILF when she was still 18. I don't really understand the desire, unless it's simply to follow a fetish they have of 'playing the mommy role' since incest porn has become a lot more popular these days.

  • yes, you have to be a mom but I don't know if they refer only to being a mom to human babies only or to pets as well because I see nowadays people refer to their pets as their babies...

  • I don't think there's a "MILF Standards Board" that judges this sort of thing, but I'd gue the vibe/look, at least, is readily acquirable without actually having kids. Perhaps, to a more fundamentalist mindset, it's a requirement, but I don't think "MILF" and "fundamentalist" fo together very often.

  • Technically yes. But usually any gal that is old enough to be a mother, even if she is not a mother, and is hot, may be called a milf. Do you want to be considered a milf?

  • Yes, if she's not a mom, she's a Cougar. MILF = Mom I'd Like to Fuck.
