Nothing, thats not a you thing, thats a guy who thinks you are pretty, and wants to make sure of that before asking you out sort of thing.

A lot of guys won't tell you this, and will deny it to no end, but most men are absolutely terrified of the idea of getting emotionally attached/close, then when its time to take off clothes, they see something they don't like, then what do they do?

So in their heads they are thinking, well, if I see what she looks like first, then I can decide if she is my type, and I'll know whether or not it's worth it to persue asking her all sorts of personality questions, and if that goes well, persuing an emotional bond, and perhaps even a relationship that stems from that bond. But on the womans end, because thus far he's only shown interest in her looks, she perceives him as only caring about looks/being shallow, when to him it's supposed to be a multi-step process, not an all at once in the begining thing.

Usually guys will just remain aloof about this, they will say they just wanna see tits, pussy, and ass, and only admit it's "love of their life searching" to someone they like the looks of (to avoid uneeded drama or caving to the wrong woman).

You might not like it (and thats ok) but most men want women to act like male peacocks, to show off their bodies so we can pick one we like, and then from that, start a friendship if our minds match, and eventual relationship (assuming everything goes well, like personality and shared hobbies/interests).

People used to be naked in public 24/7 in warm areas, the problem of "oh no, they saw me naked" is a modern convention, likely started by religion. But since before we were even apes, or monkeys, or even before we were primates, we looked at bodies and thought, yep, that one, I like that one, and thats ok too.
