Guys like lesbians because: 1 - there's no guy around (guys are gross) 2 - its taboo which makes it kinky and stuff 3 - guys naturally like exciting sex with lots of partners, so the more girls the better! I DON'T FREAKING UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY STRAIGHT GIRLS HAVE LESBIAN FANTASIES AND CRAP. I think it makes pretty good sense why guys like lesbians, from what I tried to explain. But why the freak are so many girls into it? it freaks me out. It's stupid! Guys think other guys' dicks are gross and would never wanna look at one. Girls apparently like other girls vaginas? The reason you don't understand why many women are attracted to lesbianism is because you don't have a woman's brain. There are major differences in the structure and functioning of male and female brains. Same as how you don't understand how a lefty prefers to use that hand; using your left feels weird and foreign because you're brain is different from theirs. (I assumed you're right-handed to make a point).

It's an oversimplification to say that bisexuality is media driven over the last 10 years. This fluid female sexuality is nothing new. During the Victorian Era (mid to late 1800s), British women often had very close friendships that became sexual; their friendship and affection blended with their sexuality.

I personally think it is media driven. In the last 10 years or so lesbianism/bisexuality has all of a sudden become popular and sort of even mainstream (it has always been in porn a bit but much more so now and you get semi-mainstream shows like "The L Word" and that song that came out last year "I kissed a girl and I liked it," etc.). I've heard this explanation a few times, but I don't think its the reason at all. I don't care how many people tell me that guy on guy action is hot, I would never believe it or want to watch it in any way! No, guys are repulsed by guy on guy action, but guys like girl on girl action so girl-on-girl action has become more popular. Guys and girls are different with respect to this kind of thing. We don't find other girls sexually repulsive in the way that straight guys find other guys sexually repulsive. Plus, we don't necessarily have to think about the anal sex thing, which I think disgusts a lot of guys when they think about a penis up their butt.

We get turned on by sexual stuff too, and then it kind of becomes normal, and then it even becomes sexy, or even preferable. We don't think other girls are gross and we are naturally a lot more touchy feely with each other. I don't know, maybe it is like guys who start to get into really weird stuff. I think only a true lesbian would lose interest in guys...but she really wouldn't have that much interest in them anyway. I don't know for everyone, but I don't think most bi-girls would lose interest in guys to become more lesbian. In my opinion, most girls who are bi are just experimental and want to experience sex in lots of ways with more possible partners. Sort of slutty, but it seems to be more acceptable in some circles for a girl to get with another girl.

I can understand that. I think its dumb on girls' parts though, they're the ones who look down on each other and call each other sluts for getting with guys, but at the same time don't care if they experiment with another girl. Guys think a girl is WAY more slutty if she gets on a girl as opposed to a guy. So I think there's something messed up with how girls view/criticize things.

You misunderstood me. Girls who are bi are often kind of slutty, they are experimental and like to try lots of things with different people.
