Only horny when drunk?

i don't know if this is the right section to ask this but I'm a 22 year old girl and I always feeling like having sex when I'm drunk or tipsy. when I am sober I don't feel like it very often but when I'm drunk I always really want to lol is this common and is there something wrong with me?im not the most experienced person so I think I lose my inhibitions when I do drink but tbh I would prefer to have sex with my boyfriend sober more does any one have any tips so that I can be less shy lol

it seems like for a lot of girls alcohol drops a lot of their sexual inhibitions. So I think you are probably thinking a lot of these sexual things and feeling them in you somewhere (consciously or subconsciously) when you are sober but alcohol lowers those inhibitions so the feelings become very conscious to you.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it as long as you can still make good responsible decisions.

Tips on having sex with your boyfriend when sober... you have to try and kind of realize that the feelings you have when you're drunk are alright to have and become comfortable with them, so that when you are sober those things don't seem taboo or something like that. but a lot of people even in relationships like a little booze to help "loosen" them up. I don't think you should feel too worried unless you are only having sex when you have been drinking

Alcohol increases pleasure in your brain, makes you more relaxed and lowers inhibitions. Pretty normal.

The only way to start enjoying sober sex is to start having it. Even if you're "not in the mood" have sex 5-6 times a week. It will become habit and the 'new normal' for you.

i think ill try that practice makes perfect haha, we do have it sober its just more often when I have been to a party and had a drink so its been the norm and I only get in the mood then

Can I buy you a drink? ;) Alcohol makes you lose your inhibitions. That's what it's for.

They call alcohol "liquid courage" for a reason. Doing some self reflection might help you to determine why you're inhibited about sex, and once you understand your inhibitions it's easier to deal with them.

But also, if your boyfriend is a good one, you'll feel more comfortable in his presence the longer you're together. The more you trust him and feel comfortable with him, the less shy you'll be.

ah yeah I don't think they are wrong feelings to have when I'm sober, its just I'm not as shy and conscious when I am drunk and am more focused on what I would like to do lol, we do have it sober too its just we don't live together so we usually have sex after a night out usually which is when I've been drinking

i think I'm not that inhibited but I only had one boyfriend so far although I didn't lose my virginity to him, my first time was when I was drunk and with an older 23yr old guy from college when I was 19 and it was quite painful so I think it put me off for quite a while

Since I've never been present when she was drunk I wasn't aware of it. It finally caused our break up. I knew it too late.

No remorse but regrets: I should have profited from her the way others did. :-P

Well Alcohol seems to kind of do the reverse for me. I am not as shy and more open with people though. But I rarely drink, I perfer to be sober I like myself best that way! :)
