Is oral sex to intimate between friends with benefits ?

My long time off again on again friends with benefits does not give oral but he expects it or rather he wants it. At first I thought it was something he just didn't do/wasn't into. But during our conversation about oral he told me he has done it before. Needless to say I was a little upset. He didn't mind being my first and recently told me he has feelings for me but doesn't feel comfortable giving me oral. For thoes who may ask it definitely isn't a hygine problem and we are really open sexually (and experiment often). A few guy friends suggested that perhaps oral is too intimate for a casual relationship. So my question is do you think oral sex is too intimate for a friends with benefits ? In both giving and receiving?

  • I've had those types of relationships and I wouldn't perform oral, for the same reason. It is too personal. I did very limited things with those guys... I barely kissed them on the mouth... more of a wham bam thank you ma'am type of thing. I was dressed and out the door 15 minutes after the act. No holding each other, no cuddling afterwards, also, I never did it at my house. Liked total control on being able to leave when I wanted... not having to wait for the guy to leave. Those no-strings-attached relationships can be difficult for some, because some get emotional involved with the other person. That is why I stuck to strictly raw sex, nothing personal, no lovey dovey stuff. Why? because they are not my boyfriend. Just a person I occasionally boned.

  • If giving is too intimate for him then receiving it should be too. So his behavior does not add up and I doubt it's that. I've never really heard of such a thing either. Plus as someone who also has a sort of friend with benefits I do not see how oral is particularly intimate. Sure it's easy to romanticize it, I did it for a long time prior to ever doing oral, but in reality it's not really that special. I'd say sex itself is by far more intimate than anything else. Even kissing/making out is more intimate for me than oral. I think what you're dealing with here is someone who is just either a) lazy or b) does simply not enjoy giving oral sex.

  • That's one of the main benefits... if you're having sex with the guy then oral should be on the table too.

  • how is oral intimate? I love eating pussy more then being inside pussy (blow jobs are first though). to me being inside a woman is the ultimate in intimacy. a blow job or eating someone out is anywhere from just fun to really showing someone how much you mean to them.

  • He should be up for giving if he expect receiving, END OF STORY!

  • No I don't think it's too intimate! Sex is more intimate then oral!!

  • That's just a typical male douchebags behavior. My fwbs eats me out and enjoys it and I suck him off. Also a lot of douchebags are also like that with girls they date

  • No its not, that's why you're friends with benefits . lmao

  • It's simple as this: if he receives but doesn't give, than he's a prick who only wants to get his and go. If oral sex is "too intimate" for a friends with benefits relationship than why is he wanting you to give him oral? He ain't worth your time as a date let alone a friends with benefits . Just tell him to get lost so you can find a guy who isn't a sexually selfish prick.

  • Why is anything too intimate? Isn't that what the benefits package is all about?

  • I'm in a casual relationship and my partner always perform oral everytime without me asking. Depends on the guy. I think many guys enjoys giving oral.

  • I do it all with my friends with benefits

  • Some guys (and some girls too) are just selfish. Even without realising it...

  • Thats wrong of him not to give it back.

But, anyway. Haven't you ever seen Pretty Woman? It is different scenario, but same concept ;-)
