Does having oral sex on the first or second date ruin chances of a relationship?

I'm constantly dating guys, but most of them don't stick around past date 3. No one understands why, because I'm very sweet, pretty, funny, and easygoing. I wonder if it's because I usually have oral on the first or second date? It just doesn't make sense to me, because it's not actual sex, and the guys always tell me it was great. I've tried to slow things down, but I just get so caught up in the moment, I think hand jobs are stupid, and I feel bad if I guy gets blue balls. I have one friend who has back to back long term relationships, and she usually has sex really early. She says that it doesn't make a difference. Do you guys think it's because I have oral early, or is it something else?

  • Yea I would have to say its because you do that on the first date, It also seems to me these guys are idiots who were in it for one thing and when you gave it to them they split. You should really wait, give it like maybe 10 dates I don't know but wait awhile. Try your hardest not to get caught in the moment, a moment of passion to early can ruin something that could be amazing. As for your friend are these quality guys who are with her because of who she is or how she is in bed? It sounds like those relationships started based on sex and ended because the sex got boring which it does after being with someone for a while but the differences is you stay for the person not the sex. If you are looking for long term boyfriend, good guy material WAIT! Give yourself and the guy a chance to know each other and find out if you even want to have sex. But if you are in it for a fun time, no long term strings by all means have fun just stay safe! Hope this helped =)

  • If a person tries to hookup with me on the first date it means they just want fun and nothing else. Exercise some self control and see how you do. I personally don't even kiss on the first date and my relationships generally last a long time because the guys weren't scared that I was a skank that hooked up with everyone. Which is what ALL the guys I know sat of girls that give it up super early. They may say it's good but put you in the good time category and tell their friends how easy you are so they can try.

  • Generally a poor idea but an asterisk for older people who have gone through divorce and are rebounding. This is hard to verbalize. When we are rebounding, we just want to get back into the game. Feelings and desires which are not purely sexual come on quickly and can speed things up.
