Can being tired really cause guys not to get hard?

The question basically says it all. But I just wanted to add something more. My boyfriend and I get together as often as we can due to his summer term and he has football practice plus he works, so he's pretty busy. Including this past week we've only gotten together twice this month. These past two times he hasn't been able to get fully hard and he tells me because he's tired. I want to believe him but I don't know if that's possible. I've asked him if the fact he hasn't been able to get hard is cause I dnt turn him on, if I'm not sexy enough, am I not doing a good job at oral sex or what is it. He says that I do turn him on its just cause he tired.

The penis becomes erect upon sexual arousal. Sexual arousal is a state of mind. A person's brain isn't generally functioning 100% when tired or asleep. It's not that he's not turned on by you, it's just that his fatigue is a bit stronger than his sex drive when all he wants to do is crash. The act of sex takes a lot of energy! Which is why a lot of men and women roll over and go to sleep afterwards, anyway. There's nothing wrong with either of you. Let him have some shut-eye and he'll be like the Energizer bunny, ready to go in the morning. As a matter of fact, it's been surveyed that men prefer to have sex first thing in the morning because they're well rested, and it pretty much puts them in a good mood for the rest of the day. Just wait until he wakes.

Or, you could just offer to do all the work. I'm sure he'd love that.

if he's soft cos he's stressed. fair enough. if not I doubt him being tired is going to effect him getting hard. usually if a guys tired he will be hard and instead of having sex does the whole 'oh do it for me' find out what's really going on. you can't be that tired all the time

do you really want to have sex, when your exhausted? turns out that neither does he. Don't work yourself up over it. be there for him and comfort him while he's having a rough time, and when he's feeling more the thing, I bet the sex will be even better.

well if I'm really tired like about to fall asleep and can't keep my eyes open then yes I won't get hard, but that's kinda cause I don't want to get hard cause I just want to sleep, then in the morning I just make good use of the morning wood lol

It can happen, but it can also be an excuse. Tell him you're going to let him initiate and see what happens.

No being tired does not affect me I also play football and I can get hard right after if I am turned on
