Please this is really what a good doctor should teach all women. Take your contreseptive pill and skip the red section marked for your period take the first tablet after this section. Forget the days marked. You will get your period next month it's very safe. Don't do it all the time but for holidays and romantic getaways its perfect.

  Yes your next period will be a bit heavier but not to bad at all. I'm 43 and I've been doing it all my life. Even now after 4 kids. Do it this holiday if menstruation started skip red section and continue taking pills. Give it at least a 3month rest before you do it again. You can get a script from your doctor, Cyclocapron stops period. Keep some at home. Use only if period is very heavy.

  Periods in the olden days? Woman made their own pads out of cotton washed them almost like a nappy. It was hell on earth then, girls, woman had it bad then. The vagina and the female body secretes a natural ensime that cleans the vagina after every period. But yes it's good to douche but not to much it can cause thrush or infections.

  I know :) it's weird. My period is heavy and sometimes sporadic. My bday is Christmas Eve so I think it's justt saying "hey it's your bday, now regret it."

  I think it's genetic. My mom had extremely painful and heavy periods. She was anemic like me also

Just hit today. But I get it the last week of every month. So Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday...

Mines nut bad usually though. This one is going to suck more than the rest, but it's whatever :p

  Normally I don't even get cramps. I don't need medication. I get a slight discomfort for a couple hours and then that's it. This one is very uncomfortable. Just in time to spend hours with family :p

  You can change your cycle talk to your doctor or gynecologist. It might be a good thing if you get severe period pain and heavy flow. I suggest all woman should go for regular PAP smears as soon as they become sexually active and sonar scans. Ha ha yes I have mine at the moment but my vacation's only in a weeks time.
