Is a 16 year old virgin weird?

hey guys! I'm 16 and I'm a virgin. do you think that is weird? I mean if you are my age or around 17-18 would you consider that a turn off?would you date a 16-17 year old virgin? I'm not saying I'll wait until marriage but all the guys I've dated in high school were not worth it. I'm waiting for the right one! I still think I'm kinda young to actually do it. I think 17-18 is the best. my friend lost it at 14...AT 14. what do you guys think about that?would you date someone who lost it at 14? just wanted to know . thanks a lot :)

I don't think being a virgin at 16 is weird (or probably even below average). Between tv, movies, and loud people talking up their sexual experience, it is easy for the average person to feel behind the curve. Looking back, in many respects, while I felt out of it and didn't fit in when in high school, I see now that I was much more normal and well adjusted at the time.

A buddy of mine in college told me about his first time (his early 20s). He hooked up with some girl at a party. They didn't have a committed relationship and he left feeling like sex wasn't all that impressive and hollow.

Personally, my wife and I both waited until we were married and it was as fulfilling as I expected, perhaps more so. It is so nice to be together and know we aren't being compared to any past partners. We have figured it out together.

So my belief is that it is a good thing to save it for a committed, trusting, loving relationship, even if you don't wait for marriage. You will be less likely to regret it.

Well saying that it's weird and not giving an explination just proves that yu are te type of guy that doesn't respect women that much. if you would maybe it would get better for you. I mean respect girls and you'll see you won't be single anymore. peace! xoxo

don't ever feel bad about being a virgin, especially if you CHOSE to stay one. I'm 19 and still a virgin because there isn't any guys I'd like to lose it too and because I have to much respect for myself to just lose it to anybody. your going to come across people who put you down for it but trust me, along the line your going to find someone who finds the fact that you are a virgin really attractive. take pride in it...being ashamed of it will just allow people to put you down even more.

Not at all weird! I was almost 21 when I lost mine. Some people wait longer. 16, in my opinion, is too young to have sex. Best wait till you feel you're emotionally ready. Don't do it for the sake of it. You know when the time is right!

being a virgin at 16 is not weird at all, I'm a virgin and I'm 16. if you look around this website you see a lot of questions about older people that are virgins. so you have nothinggg to worry about.

girls, its good that your still a virgin. at this age, most guys are too. don't feel bad about it. be proud that you have been able to hold out on the sexual activities this long. I too am a virgin and am proud. only one of my friends isnt, and she is younger than me. I look down on her for that. don't do it until you feel old enough and comfortable enough to do it.
