Do girls like guys to buy them lingerie or would they rather pick it out?

I would LOVE it if my guy would pick out lingerie! That would make me feel so sexy that he thought about what would look good on me and thought about wanting to see me in something sexy! I've hinted more than once for him to buy something, but my boyfriend is just like, bizarrely ambivalent about sexy lingerie... like on the good side, he'll have sex with me when I look like a complete troll, but on the other hand, it would be fun to feel like he thought about me more than as just something to do before he rolled over to fall asleep at night. Past guys would tell me things they wanted to see me in or randomly comment on underwear they thought were sexy, but I swear he never seems to notice.

Anyhow, I would say buying lingerie for your girl is a good thing and a huge compliment! Since some girls don't seem as inclined to like this, I'd just buy a gift card to victoria secret and ask her to pick out something that makes her feel sexy for you... so she can find something that she likes.

It can go one of two ways. Both with the same meaning really.

If she wants it as a surprise, she wants to see what would turn you one.

Or she could go with you to pick it out, so you could see her in it.

So I guess, it could go either way.

I think some girls appreciate her man buying it for her but it really depends on the girl and whether she is comfortable but I think it be sweet and so hot!

i think girls like to pick it out but some like to bring their guy along to model it and such, you know?, give a bit of a preview... if you're a gentleman you'll buy it for her, but like I said, let her pick it out

Most of the time, the woman likes to buy it, so that she can surprise her guy. But occasionally some women might like it if her guy buys it.

I would rather him buy it for me. I may not always like what my husband buys, but that's not what matters. All that matters is that he likes it and he's happy with it.
