my heart beats fast and it kinda hurts?

like i was flashed today and my heart started beating so fast it began to hurt...
is this normal?
Well it didn't really hurt.. but like...

you know that feeling when you almost fall down the steps, but you catch yourself?
that feeling you get in your heart... its like your heart jumps out of your chest...
that's what i feel...

I kinda miss that feeling, like a cold burn in the chest right? I got it before I tried to ask out a girl though, so I think it's kinda like that rush. Some kinda chemical reaction, adrenaline maybe, It lasted a some hours before it passed... Though I found it to be a great feeling that I kinda miss. Though tbh I got turned down hard that time the build up graced me with that sensation. Not much more i know about it. Also I didn't know flashers still did that sorta thing so I guess if you got flashed by a nice looking female and you liked it you're pretty lucky.
