I have been to many nude beaches and always enjoyed it. Most nude beaches are quite "safe", meaning no perving or running into sexual activity.
When talking about a private beach off the beaten path, it is often just you and the people you go with. So then it becomes whatever you make of it. Just being nude with friends, or some sexual activity if you want it.
As someone who has always had problems with his self esteem, I was always terrified of them - but believe it or not, I find that the people at nudist beaches are actually FAR LESS judgmental than those at the "normal" beach.
Give it a shot. It's surprisingly liberating.
Been to many nude beaches in South Florida, to nudist resorts and even just skinny dipping with local friends and it is fine. Never feels uncomfortable, never seen a problem at any nude beach or resort. Everybody just seems to do their own thing. If there are pervert's running around sneaking pictures I sure haven't seen any of that either.
I was born into a naturist family. Spent so much time at naturist clubs and on beaches. Also been to the resort of Cap d'Agde, in southern France.
It is not for everyone, and some people are openly hostile. Until you have tried it, especially naked swimming, you will not know what it is like.

I've been to Miami Beach, a lot of people are topless there, but I didn't go specifically because of that.

there no big deal. really just a more social each. years ago when i went to one. i was falli g asleep when this cojple cane up to me and asked if i wanted to join a voleyball game. It was a fun game and we later. had a BBQ right on the beach. we all had a casual meeting. a general good time. we met a couple more times that year. there wasn't any ogling like i had tnkught went on at these beaches. In all actuality. the people on nude beaches. are nicer than on a regular beach
would never go because I don't feel comfortable with people looking at me with clothing on. (I'm not unattractive just have social anxiety).
I suppose I would go if a group of my friends was going and invited me along, but I doubt I would go alone.

I've been to many nude beaches and resorts. It's the most non-sexual thing you will do with your clothes off.
We have been a number of times to a nude beach.
If I had the oportunity I'd go back at that beach, indeed. But not at any price. There's a nude beach at 3 mi from our vacation spot and I never went to it. Walking 3 miles (and back=6mi) just to be naked is a bit much.

Typically it is guys you don't want to see who are hoping girls go to get naked. They probably invited you because they want to see you getting back to nature.
