The lack of social interaction is primarily what I blame it on, and everything is so "acceptable" now. I see no issue necessarily with our society being more accepting, but there are one too many "safe space" and "I'm perfect as I am" mentalities these days.
The social issue I think primarily comes from people just not leaving their homes. When you were shy at my parents and their parents age, they had to FORCE themselves to go out and find people. Now, people can just click-click, find a dating site. Click-click, find free porn. Click-click, find some fetish-roleplay forum to occupy their time with.
It's so much easier to just play the world's smallest violin and expect pity instead of forcing yourself to make shit happen nowadays. It's easier to point fingers and hide in a corner than accept responsibility and do something about it.
AND... there are some guys who literally just had the worst luck, got shit on, and subsequently ended up destroyed. I will say it does happen.
Yeah, that's so true. Especially about the fact that people don't interact with one another, staying home and just escaping in the world through the computer.
I do have to say though that pink anon had a point as well. Women do complain just as much and people take them more seriously, and overall female issues are taken more seriously and more resources are available for them. So that doesn't help. In other cases, some of them just need to be told to give their balls a tug while others just need a hug. Lol. It's case by case.

Honestly, the only places I've encountered men that bad are on online communities, forums, and comment boards--places where you can hide behind anonymity and the safety of a computer screen. IRL, it seems, these men are more apt on keeping their mouths shut.

Do you honestly think a man with those problems will hear someone say those things to him and then be like "Oh, shit! I guess he's right! I'm a pussy and I need to change it!"? Probably not. By the way, the biggest irony about things like your post is that it itself is a complaint and a gripe by definition. You're clearly emotionally invested in other men's lives. Why? I don't think that most men think masculinity is bad per se. I think a lot of it is honestly 1. A lack of a father figure due to the frequent divorce rate. 2. Media and school systems pushing feminism so hard and also demonizing masculinity. 3. Porn could be a factor, yes. And whatever else it may be. Again I do see your point, however those men are objectively correct with their assertions. Women DO have easier lives. Men ARE discriminated against. Women DO often get free things. I just see these as facts. However what are we to do about that is the real question? I suppose either accept them or try to change them.
