I got what seems like a a canker sore under my upper lip three weeks after giving a blowjob, could that be the reason for it?

So I gave someone a blowjob three weeks ago, I don’t do this often, but I did it three weeks ago and ever since I did it I have been worrying about stds, told the guy I was worried and he told me he would get tested so that I wouldn’t worry. Then he told me he got tested and everything was okay. He didn’t show me anything, he just told me he got the results and everything was okay. Today I got up and it felt like there was something under my lip on the right side, i think it’s probably a canker sore but I am worried I don’t know. Also yesterday I had two drinks and a lot of food so when I got back I made myself throw up and don’t know if it could have something to do with it.

    Canker sore usually Inside the mouth, Side of Cheek.

  • Doubtful. I get canker sores a lot and it's certainly not from giving a blowjob. Haven't given one in almost 3 years so it's probably something else that's causing it.

  • Canker sores are not caused by STDs. Use original Listerine a couple times a day help it heal.

    • Yes Paris13, I realize *you* were talking about cold sores. But the OP is talking about a canker sore, which is a different thing, and not caused by Herpes. That's all I'm sayin'. Also, cold sores are not related to the common cold particularly. Two different viruses. Cold sores can strike more if your body is feeling stressed, which is why they sometimes pop-up when you get a cold or flu, but you don't get a cold sore (herpes virus) from someone who has a cold (rhinovirus). One of the reasons I am on this board is to make sure people get detailed and medically accurate information on issues related to sexual health, and I am sorry if it bothers you for me to put my two cents in here on this discussion board thread, but please know, I am not attacking you or saying anything shitty about you. I'm just putting facts into the hands of others, because that's my job.

  • Are you confusing canker sore with a cold sore? Is it on the outside or inside of the mouth. Technically it can be oral herpes too
