  • Some are worse than others. It varies between women and even between one woman's periods. I have some that are a breeze and others that are absolute hell. But even on the easy ones, the basic discomforts are there... bloating, physical discomfort simply from feeling gross down there, self consciousness worrying about leaking... etc. On the bad ones I get horrible cramps that make it difficult to even do anything. I also often get alternating constipation and diarrhea (which are unfortunately very common). And I typically find that I am in an inexplicable low mood for the couple of days leading up to the start of my period. Its annoying because it often takes me a day or two to realize that it's just my period coming, so I'm sitting there for a day or two just miserable and depressed and not understanding why.

Tl;Dr it's fucking miserable. Even the easy ones.

    • I often get headaches too and want to eat constantly even tho it makes me feel even worse.

  • When it comes to me, just forget everything you've been told or know about periods.
    - I don't have a period once a month, never did before I had the implant. They were very irregular and still are, so I gave up keeping track of it not long after I started.
    - My periods can last 3-9 days and I can have one or two days with no bleeding at all, then the next day, more comes.
    - I don't always have pain or mood swings and I don't have massive urge to eat everything.
    - I rarely feel sorry for myself when I'm having one - I treat it as an inconvenience but I'm used to it and I deal with it without thinking.

  • Well you abdomen is always cramping sooo bad, it's like someone is grabbing your lower stomach and squeezing so hard, never letting go. You constantly sleep from the loss of blood, your cranky, happy, then sad, then laughing about something stupid. You constantly have to change a tampon or pad, both are bad because no one feels like constantly doing that. You usually have a craving for sweets.

  • It can be quite uncomfortable sometimes. Every woman is different though. Some have very mild cramps, and some have almost debilitating cramps. I usually get pretty severe cramping, horrible lower backache, and migraines every month. I still manage to go to work, but some days its difficult.

  • Oh dear God... the mood swings. Whenever a girl is moody, a little to moody, just jump in the bomb shelter and only come out after the bomb goes off, not when. Some women are obviously moodier than others.

Another girl collapsed on my lap in strings class passing by me. I asked her questions why she fainted and one girl whispered "period" to me. LOL!

  • I asked my girlfriend once, she said that it felt like "getting stabbed repeatedly in the stomach everyday for 3 - 5 days"

  • A near constant state of paranoia that you’re bleeding through, and a few times a day like you’ve peed yourself when a particularly heavy flow or a large clot comes through.

    You’re welcome for that visual

  • Every woman’s period is different. I only feel mine on the first two days. On the second day it’s the most uncomfortable, because I wear pads. I can feel the flow.
I don’t get symptoms of pms, I don’t get any pains or cravings or mood swings from it. Having my period just feels like a normal day to me. Apart from the second day. That’s the day that won’t let me forget I’m not a pregnant lady.

  • Cramps like my lower abdomen is full of sandpaper, really sore back, lethargy, headaches, massive mood swings, tender boobs

    • Are those cramps worse than stomach echoes?

  • What does it Feel like to have A---Penis?
Welcome, hun, to Gag Town and Good Luck. xx

  • It can vary between women so I can only speak for myself. I get really bad chills and puke the day before it starts. Then I lose so much blood that I feel very weak and my blood pressure drops 10 points lower. Honestly, it's a very miserable experience

  • LAMEE 😩

  • Sometimes you can feel when you're bleeding which is not pleasant, and as others have mentioned, it's mostly the pms symptoms that are a pain, literally. Also, some get extremely depressed. I myself am extremely suicidal during my period. Some get hyperactive.

  • Most of the time they aren't that bad. But other times I can nearly faint because of the pain.

    • So sad... Girls have pathetic life.

    • @Rajatkumarmishra Lol, not really. It just makes us stronger, because what guy can bleed for 5-7 days and not die?

    • @Rajatkumarmishra what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! lol

  • -Uncontrollable blood rushing out of your nether regions.
    -Nausea & dry heaving.
-The sensation that your stomach is being squeezed by multiple fists (aka cramps).
    -Charlie horses in my thighs
    -Back pain
    -Consistent headaches
-Anemia due to blood loss (fatigue, loss of strength, cold sweats, shaking)
-Sensitivity to stress (I sometimes start to cry uncontrollably over the dumbest things)

    • Ugh... the crying! It drives me crazy because with the exception of those few days before my period I'm normally not overly emotional... But I've literally cried because I dropped my hairbrush and it made me feel clumsy. I've also cried because I couldn't think of a good enough reason to justify being as sad as I was lol

    • @Sara413 Girl yes! lol. It actually just started happening to me last year. My mom was complimenting me on how much weight I'd lost and I started to think about how I was bullied for my weight in elementary school. I started sobbing like a lunatic and I had to explain to her that I didn't know what was happening. I thought I was going crazy until my period started flowing a couple hours later. That was the first time I was relieved to know aunt flow had arrived.

    • Since then I've cried because my recipe didn't work out. When I realized I was running late to a party, and sometimes just before bed I'd start crying for a couple minutes. It's so weird.

  • It’s different for every girl, and some periods are worse than others. For me it’s the bloating and cramping a couple days before it starts. Once the flow starts it’s Ok.

  • I don’t get cramps or any pain. I don’t grave chocolate or ice cream like others do. I feel the same and act the same.
I just find it gross and uncomfortable.

  • It's like being sooo emotional or upest for no vaild reason. Having cramps and lower back pains that make you feel like taking a hot bath foreverrr or stay in bed forever. Oh and so horny jeeez

    • On a scale from 1/10 how horny does a period make you and how horny are you naturally

    • Naturally 6-7, period 8-9

    • That’s a pretty big difference I think when i have a girlfriend her period days are going to be the best days

  • Hasrett said it best!
Plus you crave stupid foods! I crave popcorn and grease and chocolate and a lot of other things

    • Yep.. and unfortunately, with the exception of dark chocolate, all of those things you crave actually make many of the symptoms worse (bloating, cramps, digestive issues).

    • Yep lol blahhhh!

    • Aw thanks. :D Yup I forgot about the food part.

  • Your a bitch or crybaby over everything and you crave everything and like your stomach gets turned inside out

  • As for the cramps, it's like you haven't peed for a few days and someone's poking your stomach all the time. That plus back pain
And also you just have this general sense of weakness in your abdominal area, a bit like your spine isn't strong enugh to carry your body.
But thankfully there are drugs to take care of that. :P

Mood changes rarely happen to me, but sometimes yeah I'll get angry or start crying over the smallest things easier.

  • Like I'm a samurai trying to take the honorable way out by stabbing myself in the lower left abdomen and dragging the blade across to the other side.

    • After exit of egg structure... ur bleeding blood will it stop are not?

  • Annoying...😊

  • Worst. Thing. Ever.

    • I feel ya girl
