No. I personally wouldn't date any girl once she's not a virgin because I'm waiting until after engagement or marriage, and I would not want to give my virginity, date, or marry a girl that is not a virgin too. I would be unhappy and feel a lot of resentment, and really not be able to give any affection to a girl that wasn't a virgin. The only girl I could respect and love enough to marry would be a virgin. I'm fine with having promiscuous girls as friends (without benefits) but any girl that is not a virgin couldn't be really be anything more than just a friend (without benefits).

I don't think it means he's insecure. It probably just means they are worried about the woman being serious. When I meet my husband I had, had several partners and he was a virgin. He didn't mind so much he was just worried rather I would be committed or not. He's had some jealousy issues but I don't think that was mostly my fault.
