Kissing + lip ring = ?

So my boyfriend just got a lip ring. Honestly I don't really like the idea, but I told him I'd be willing to get used to it. I won't see him for another month or two, so it will be mostly healed when I see him. Then a thought came up... what about kissing? Is it different? Different how? in a good way? a bad way? What do you think? What is it like kissing someone with a lip ring? Oh and is there anything I can do with the ring while kissing (like gently pulling on it)? What makes kissing with a lip ring more enjoyable? oh the ring is a loop with a bead.

  • I was just begging my guy yesterday to re-pierce his snakebites. I adore them. If he's into biting and such, gently pull on it every so often. Wait til he's getting really worked up then pull away for a second . . when you go back in to kiss him just play with the ring for a few seconds. He will be going mad just for a real kiss after that. Don't ever keep pulling if he appears uncomfortable. Piercings have a very fine line between erotic pressure and just flat out pain. Oh, learn to flick it back and forth with the tip of your tongue.

I think that kisses applied with pierced lips have a particularly nice tickle. A little like something forbidden? So yeah, a little tiny bit different, in a good way, and as someone else said, if you don't like it, just ask him to take it out sometimes, after it's healed.

    • Hey thanks! that's really helpful. hahaha do you know what he told me? he actually said "he we can't figure out kissing right away the ring come out." I would hate for him to have to take it out because of that , he really likes it.

  • No different. I've got both a medusa and a labret piercing. Don't pull on his piercings either! I pull on mine but that's because they've been in for a number of years, if he's just had it done, its gonna be a bit tender. So no...

I've got bars but did used to have a BCR like your boyfriend, the only thing I found that got in the way was trying to drink out of a bottle.

    • Yeah I realize it would be tender. I was just asking for future reference, when it is completely healed. I an only imagine that it would be a lil' bit difficult drinking out of a bottle. thanks for the advice.

  • I have not had a lip piercing but I've had cartilage and nose piercing but I have friends who have them and it doesn't affect their personal lives haha.

Of course, the first few weeks it will need time to heal and that's if he takes good care of it and does as he's told by the person who pierces him

It also depends where exactly he got it...some people get it in different places

    • It just on the right side of the bottom lip. off centered. I'm just curious that's all. I just know kissing will be a lil' bit different and want to make it for the best. :) thanks for the post.

  • Sounds tricky and sexy too.

  • Disgusting

  • just tell him to take the lip ring off DUH! then you'll can start back to kissing again DUMBASS

    • "I am 18 years old I am a nice person" That went out the window

    • Wow lovely thanks so much for your helpful insightful advice.

    • Of course, you can just ask him politely if he could take out his lip ring. Secondly, that was truly and really uncalled for calling her a dumbass.
