My girlfriend was raped by her roommates, how do I respond?

She lives in San Francisco and I attend school here in Los angeles, I called her to see if she was home OK and no answer, she called me back and I could hear her running around knocking on doors, basically running for her life, she whispered call 911 so I did and the sf police found her 2 miles away, she told the police that she was tied up and only beaten, she chose not to mention rape, and she mentioned to both I and the police that this has been happening almost everyday for the two weeks that she has been moved in, she doesn't want me to tell her mom when I know I need to, and I am going crazy because the thought of seeing what happened makes me want to vomit what do I do?

  • Terrible...

Best way to help her is to be always happy around her flirty, take her mind off those things. Be loving and affectionate. Don't ask her about the rape, if she wants to speak about it she will.

    PS:

Try getting info about her roommates from other sources, NOT FROM HER. I know you want revenge, but don't rush with it, make it slow an painful. You don't have to touch them cause you might get in trouble with the police and that's the last thing your girlfriend want. Just destroy their future

  • I personally would go round break half their bones..They ain't guna tell or they will be found out as rapists and they should leave.

But if your not like me call the police and tell them.

    • Thats my instinct but at the moment I'm powerless

  • if you know people and have connections, have someone "harm" whoever was involved. if not then report it to the police FOR HER. I believe you can report a rape for someone else. if you know their names then tell the police anyway because rapists don't just rape people once they will do this again to someone else. it can be common for rape victims to want everything to go away and not do anything but sadly she will have those memories carrying with her and it will resurface if she doesn't deal with the problem.

  • This sounds horrible... Put your self in her mother's shoes... she misses her, and would like to know what her daughter does. How does it happen everyday? Is she being followed everyday?

    • I just visited her and met the girls a couple days ago, everythign seemed fine, but she told me this morning on the phone after everything and she said almost everyday they tie her up, a couple of the girls are in a sorority and she said she didn't say anything sooner because she felt as if that's what college girls do , I think that's weird in itself, but she doesn't want the police to know or her mother because she wants to still go to school up there, very stubborn

  • THATS HORRIBLE! just be very supportive of her and give her lots of gentle love. Now is probably not the time to be very flirty or anything like that. Just be very strong and pray and be someone she can trust and lean on :) good luck, I'm so sorry that's happened

  • go to san francisco with a f***ing bat and beat the living sh*t outta the dude that touched your girl

  • I would try to f*** them up and ruin their lives. I really don't think you should let them get away with this. Honestly just reading this made me so mad. Those girls are sick people and I think you should try to have them sent to court. Stand up for her and try your best to support her because this is definitely not an easy thing. Be there for her like a mom would.

  • if you live in l.a go join a frickin gang hunt those dudes down...and you know the rest

  • ='[ that is disheartening...

just be there for her and distract her and be gentle like a mom would...

help her fight those jerks and send them to court! and jail! stand up for her and fight those f***ing idiots!
