So Guys that like "the hairy bush" - does armpit and leg hair make us look more like "real women" to you?

And the dozens of daily questions that are asked here something to the effect of "Guys/Girls how do you prefer pubic hair on the opposite sex"? - or something of that nature, ad nauseum...

So Guys that like "the hairy bush" - does armpit and leg hair make us look more like "real women" to you?

So... you think that we shave our pubes because we are worried about what guys think... or some men (and women) think that shaving our pubes makes us "look like little girls" as opposed to grown women...

For those men (and women) that believe that, if we don't shave our legs and armpits... is that a good "mature" look to you?

Because I have news for you, all of this hair, begins to come in around puberty. Not just the pubic area, but legs and underarms too.

So, boys and girls... if you "love the bush"... can we just throw out the razors and the hair removal cream altogether? Is that a more "grown up" and less "childlike" look for you? Little girls don't have visible leg or armpit hair either.

Makes sense to me. The Wildebeest look would be much less maintenance!

  • I think you bring up a good point regarding consistency here. Even though the legs especially in the photos you posted are quite hairy, the fact is that these are still women. I am VERY attracted to the female body. They have an attractive face, they seem to look like they are nice and frankly, they still look hot and feminine. They are in no way a turn off. Hair grows in those areas on everyone so its not like its anything out of a scifi thriller or anything weird to see a woman with hairy legs or arm pits. Half or more of stay at home moms have little time to keep themselves looking like a model. They don't shave often and honestly, a mom is a beautiful and a real person. She is often in her most primal form as a woman. That's beautiful to me because its real and honorable. The women above are still hot and pretty. For me, I'm fine if she likes to keep hair on her legs or armpits. If I love her and am attracted to her face, this won't stop me or even slow me from wanting to make love to her. Even meeting her and first impressions would not scare me if she was in this state. Now at the same time, I realize most women like to keep smooth and that is fine too. I will appreciate it ether way.

As far as the bush (pubic hair) goes... I see that as something that is preferable because that hair grows in at a special time in life. It grows in when a girl becomes a woman. It signals to me that her body has made the changes necessary to accommodate my body and that she is now a sexual creature by design. I have not allowed modern fashion or porn to shape my most natural and primal ideas of what my body should be like or how hers should be. I like it as it is supposed to be by design. Pubic hair is not there by accident. I appreciate it and frankly will be 1000x more turned on if she has it vs very little or none at all. Its how I'm naturally wired. I think I'm normal with this natural mental set of wiring. I don't have a hair fetish, I am just more vocal about it in general because so many women remove it now days and I want them to know that some of us guys appreciate them the way they were made originally and that there is no need to "fix" things because its already beautiful and perfect.

    • Well that was at least a fair and honest answer. But even in 70's porn - the women shaves their legs - and "bush lovers" for some reason, don't take issue with that - it's only the absence of pubes that bothers them. Anyway, thanks for the answer.

    • Your welcome and thank you. And don't get me wrong, smooth legs look nice on a woman but I'm trying to be consistent here too. Anyway, good question and topic. :)

    • Well said

  • I worry about those that think the shaved look looks like a little girl.. Honestly, those woman I have been with that shaved, were not little girls, nor did they have little girl bodies.. I feel those that are anti shaving may have some latent issues.. that is, if "looking to young" is the issue.
I shave may face, whiskers came in at puberty.. So if I shave my face, am I trying to look like a little boy? LMFAO... If I shave my junk? again am I trying to look like a little boy? ROFL...

Its a hair style.. If you make more of it than that, you might want to examine your reasons... Much ado about nothing..

    • Maybe on thicker women it doesn’t look like that, but many women actually have smaller boobs, smaller butts. So shaven does look prepubescent.

    • @bente2 Nope I dated skinny girls and medium girls and a thicker girl.. Nothing prepubescent. about them. I just think that people that concern themselves as to whether its pervy or not, probably have some sexual issues..

  • I’ve always been confused about this no hair movement thing... My hair is very dark, so I shave my legs and trim my pubes, in the summer months I shave... I don’t understand why people think women do this for men, I personally love my legs feeling like smooth sleek dolphins. If a guy asked me not to shave I’d tell him he’s crazy to try and take away my smooth sleekness.

  • My God, I'm so glad of my genetics. This looks kinda like a nightmare to me and a big waste of time to maintain everytime.
I personally would get rid of all of it if I had body hair like a normal girl.

    • Ugh, my grandma is the same way, so jealous of you... and my mom doesn’t grow arm hair whatsoever. I don’t grow armpit hair.

  • I don’t care if guys think leg and armpit hair makes me look like a “real woman.” I don’t like it, so I’m gonna keep shaving or waxing my legs and armpits.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Knock yourself out. No one will object if you want to toss the razor. However, don't be surprised if some guys - lots of guys - aren't interested in you. You are free to do as you choose - and so is everyone else.

Yup, a lot of our grooming conventions are socially conditioned? What of it. So is the idea of eating with a knife and fork. (You can use your hands and teeth if you prefer, but don't be surprised if no one asks you out to dinner.) Does not make it bad.

For all that, I am not sure of the broader point. Because guys like bush - as I do - we have to like armpit hair? Alternatively, if we don't like armpit hair on a woman, women should then be obliged to shave their pubes, too?

    Say again?

In fact, some recent studies suggest that shaving pubic hair has some decided medical disadvantages. Micro cuts on the genitals, chaffing, dry skin in the public region, and the inability of the body to capture pheromones, thereby making you, at the margins, less attractive to the opposite sex.

None of this is fatal, by any means, but it does suggest that some of our social and grooming conventions are rooted in evolutionary developments. These things, in the typical sweep of evolution, don't happen by accident and while humans - unlike all other creatures on the planet - can rise above their natures, that does not settle the question of when it is a good idea to do so, and when not.

Bottom line, my girlfriend likes my pubes and my chest hair, and I like her pubes and shaved legs and armpits. So, I think, we'll just leave things as they are, thanks very much.

    • That diatribe was a little confusing to read, but thanks for the answer. :)

  • Hairy legs are a turn off! But my husband LOVES my body odor. Sometimes in the winter to thrill him, I let my underarms grow hairy so they retain my body odor. Todd goes crazy sniffing and kissing my sweaty smelly armpits. Turns me on too.

  • My guy says nooooooooo

  • If she looks like that, I would enjoy everything she has to offer.

    • ok then

  • If you read guys who are into a bit of crossdressing or looking feminine by wearing some make up and they ask if women like that, pretty much every women hates it and would never date a guy into and instantly dump their boyfriend if he did that. We have to accept that. So in return, no, I do not like a woman who looks like a lumberjack who hasn't had a bath in 3 weeks.

  • Love the bush, love hairy armpits and legs. Don't shave at all. Hairy girl = sexy as f*ck.

  • Hubby and I prefer me to be hair free from the neck down.

  • No, no, no! I don't want to see armpit or leg hair on women. I haven't had to look at that for 63 years and I don't want to start now. It looks masculine to me.

  • I honestly don't care much bush vs no bush. I probably give more oral with no bush I guess. As for body hair, I've dated a girl who didn't shave her armpits (although it was nowhere as thick as that example). That didn't bother me, it was actually kind of sexy in a way. She did shave her public and leg hair though. I've never experienced leg hair, but I imagine as long as I was into the girl, I could get past that. Not something I'd find sexy otherwise.

    • First opinion that was nice.

  • Some months I don't shave my legs

    • I don't really like the leg hair but I dig the armpit hair.

  • Nooooooooooooooooo

  • Yeah, we haven't use to see hair on women that's why we find it gross but if its okey on guys then it can be okey on women too
    We are just so shallow
They will say its just a preference and its true but there is just something wrong with the whole thing

  • It looks really unpleasant lol, i don't think many guys find hairy women like that attractive, least i hope not.

    • Not many guys find hairy women attractive

    • @disgustingweebtrash Exactly, they do it to prove a point most of them, or because they can't be bothered to shave.

    • agreed. But why do so many of them hate the shaved pubes look?

    • Show All
  • Armpit hair I can live with, but for some reason I can't get over thick leg hair. I'm not sure why.

  • It depends on factors I can't describe. I've examined a lot of shaved ones and a lot of hairy ones and I sure couldn't imagine what my reaction would be when I saw them get naked, so I guess I'll have to ask every girl I meet to take her clothes off. You never know what's hiding in those pants...

  • Bush is what we call hair in pubic area. Legs or armpits or facial hair are not part of the term "bush".

    • You did ask that if men love the bush so much, why don't we love the other hair bits. We don't. We love me the bush.

    • You might benefit from reading the entire question there Holmes.

  • I never cared.
The only thing I do care.. Is facial hair.
If she doesn't have that, I dont care for other parts.
I had one (radical feminist) girlfriend.. Who had armpit hair.. And between her legs... And god, she was my best fuck for 2 years almost.

  • Hair... in all areas, looks better when it's maintained, now you don't need your pubic area looking like a cockerel's comb, just like you don't need a full wax every 3 days elsewhere... But shave/trim once a week (or two if you're really comfortable in the relationship).

Saying that, i can't be the only one who thinks the third girl gets something of a pass because she's in shape and attractive lmao.

  • I LOVE women with hairy bodies,.. but not tooooo much. I don't want to be rubbing up against a clothes brush. Hairy women look natural, they're more feminine to me, they're sexier for it and they're rebelling against the widely accepted 'norm' of what society (and industry) says is best or healthiest. In MY humble opinion, hairy women are healthy women. It's just as clean as a shaved woman (assuming she showers as often as a shaved woman would) and it feels nicer too.
