I find that to be really weird and the only reason that happens is if you are a teen with all the hormones. After that your random boners and boners from seeing a hot girl fades a lot.

I guess if you don't have a lot of experience or really see her in a sexual manner and thinking about having sex with her it can happen.

But I'd say it's not very normal to have a boner around a crush. I can watch women naked without a boner it's how you view things. I find women really beautiful and sexual but if they are just doing mundane things or just being naked it doesn't give me any reaction.

For the people saying "yes how could you not".. it's because when you really have a crush on a girl and I wanna be with her you do get goosebumps and butterflies sometimes.. nervousness is the #1 reason for limp dick during sex.
