happens to me its because when your blood rushes back to the rest of your body, the muscles that control "it" relax but when you get aroused again those muscles have to go back to work. that causes stress and can cause painful erections. its like, if you were doing bicep curls and you kept going even though it hurt and no matter what you couldn't get it to stop unless you hit 100 and if you did stop without it the pain won't go away for a while and your arm stays in that position for a while. it kinda sucks so id say give him a break after he's done for a while and just let his little buddy rest up a bit.
