How come my boyfriend never talks about sex?

Ive been seeing a guy 9 months, he NEVER talks about sex or asks me questions. He says he's been with quite a few girls..while I've only been with 1, and I'm older then him...but he never says anything sexual or has yet to try to do anything with me. He's very respectful of women, which is great, but if I'm his girl, why isn't he at least asking questions or telling me what he likes. My friends say he has to be a virgin..im confused. I'm not one to usually make first moves, but I might have to, as it seems like he doesn't want to "cross the line"...any suggestions?

I concur with your friends that he's likely a virgin. Not many guys, especially those in their 20s would admit they were a virgin if indeed they are. Maybe he's afraid he wouldn't do something right or something.

Then there's other possibilities like maybe he doesn't think of you in that way or maybe he's gay.

9 months and he hasn't made a move!? that's odd no doubt. He could have a serious lack of confidence,be very shy,he may be a virgin,he may be secretly gay,he could be asexual.

My suggestions are to try and make a move or just ask him what's up? I could speculate all day on reasons but nothings gonna give you the right answer, except for hearing it from him.
