Virgin Hunters of G@G - Are you confused about what the hymen is and how it works?

Not to debate why it matters in the first place (I don't care why it's important to you) - but there is NO MEDICAL/PHYSICAL (EXAM) WAY TO DETERMINE "VIRGINITY".

However, I've seen an abundance of questions and comments about the infamous hymen, and many of them are just flat WRONG.

Let me be clear... NO REAL GYNOCOLOGIST would ever tell someone that they can do a pelvic exam and tell with certainty that she IS a "virgin" - hymen intact or not.

They can only tell if there has been "trauma" (damage inflicted) in there. That doesn't happen in normal sexual intercourse. And usually, for most girls, there is no bleeding involved with their first sexual experience.

Are you among the confused? Have you bought in to misinformation about the hymen?

This video is pretty simple to understand.
There are many, many more. Some are more scientific than others, and some are moderately entertaining. But they all say the same thing.

  • That's true. I knew a girl who's hymen was um "popped" from horseback riding. It had nothing to do with sex at all. Any type of trauma can cause a hymen to not be intact anymore, not that it really matters. Virginity however, wasn't prized because of an intact hymen. It has to do more with a woman or a man having less baggage, no children, and not being a biological hazard to their potential spouse. Although modern medicine and safe sex have alleviated some of those concerns, it still is important or a highly regarded quality for millions of women or men looking for a life partner. I only mention this because you threw in virgin hunters in connection with your hymen question.

  • I think a lot of girls DO bleed when they have sex for the first time, simply because they’re not lubricated enough, not relaxed enough, and the guy just jams their dick in causing friction and soreness for the girl. That’s what makes them bleed and that’s why most girls that bled say it was very painful.

  • I bled when my hymen was broken my first time, but that was rape! I guess its true that just because a girl doesn’t have a hymen, or her hymen is torn, doesn’t mean she has ever had sex. My friend at gymnastics tore her hymen during a routine, but obviously she was still a virgin. However, if a girl DOES have a perfect, intact hymen, then she is a virgin. (At least vaginally) because the penis breaks the hymen on its way in.

    • Well said, virginity has nothing to do with hymn. It has more to do with no sex at all with a partner (technically a woman is a virgin after receiving Cunnilingus without inserting tongue as I have read).

  • Virginity is not about the hymn, that is a myth and needs to be stopped. It is about having sex/making love to someone else (no ":self-love" or masturbation done by yourself). Technically spoken, a woman can be still considered as virgin when her pussy got licked but no tongue was inserted. Only technically, of course.

    But remember that also we men can be virgin, means having no sex/made love with an other person than our self.
