Dicks and size statistics?

So I'm a guy, and naturally I want to know how my dick compares with the rest of the male species. After doing some research, I've found that the average penis length is a little over 5 inches. This doesn't seem right though because whenever I witness someone say their penis size (online and offline), they always claim theirs is like around 7 inches or so. So my question is, why is the average penis length like 5 inches when practically everyone I witness claims their penis size is relatively larger than this average length? (Even my penis is 7.5 inches long, so I don't see where this "5 inches average length" came from).

Fun fact: guys use different measurements than girls. For guys, one inch is 2 centimetres instead of 2.54. And if they normally work in centimetres, than one centimetre is about 0.7 times the size of a girl's centimetre.

Complicated, but it means that studies conducted by girls or using girl's measurements have a way smaller outcome for 'average dick size' than when measured by the guys themselves.

I’m pretty sure 5’5 or 6 is the average, but you know most guys lie about their size right? They’d probably tell you they’re 7 inches instead 4.

There is no official governing body tracking dick size anywhere.
No information can be validated.
All guys lie about their size.

No different than all girls thinking they're tighter than the average.
There is no way the average vag would comfortably fit a penis over 7 inches. There's always exceptions, but most people lie

No guy with a smaller than average dick is going to tell people that. So they either lie of stay quiet.

So the only people you hear from are above average guys and liars.

First of all, a lot of guys exaggerate their size online. Secondly, the guys with 3 and 4 inch penises aren't talking about it online.
