Gay friend had sex with a drunk straight man, discuss?

So yeah. Wasn't sure if the drunk straight guy was awake or not lol... But my gay friend totally deflowered him apparently. What do you think about this?

  • umm yea that's rape. Doesn't matter if it's a girl/guy or a guy/guy, having sex with someone who is drunk (especially while you are sober) is date-rape. The straight guy who got raped is probably gunna need some serious therapy or something, and he could press charges if he wants to.

These incidents are severely underreported to the police because people are too embarrassed to admit they were raped/were drunk enough to be taken advantage of. It is especially underreported when guys are raped by other guys, as they might think that people will think they are gay or that it somehow makes them less of a man.

If you are friends with either the rapist or the victim, I would get them to take a look at this site: link

It has helpful articles on sexual that define what is sexual consent and what is rape.

    • yeah I don't know what to think of it really... its COMPLETELY f ucked up.

    • Oh so not true.. Men are not woman.. We don't run around crying hysterical when someone touches our junk. Women and their god damn emotion. I swear to god. You wipe your self every day.. A hand touches your junk probably a few million times in your life.. but oh by god let it happen once by someone not intended and your feeble mind needs years of therapy after. Good god. • Considering I'm pretty sure one of the said guys is you...

1)You either raped a guy and he should press charges against you.

    Or...

2)You got raped and should press charges against that "friend".

    • LMFAO no, its not me. I have a gay friend, he's pretty cool overall, but lately he's been having no luck finding a boyfriend, so he goes out to clubs a LOT and yeah, I was there one time where he made out with a drunk straight guy too LOL. The girlfriend came up and was like "WTF" :S but yeah... Not me. Apparently this incident happened over a year ago.

    • also.. Or... 3) just a dude who heard this not too long ago, figuring out what to think of it all, so asking for other peoples input. Wanna keep numbering it down glove?

    • If it's not you then fine, but there's been so many questions on this site where people claim they're talking about their "friend", when they're really just talking about themselves, that it's made me (and apparently others) suspicious. lol

  • What are we supposed to discuss, the fact that your friend raped a guy, or your poor taste in friends?

    • i didn't find this out till now, this happened over a year ago.:/ besides I don't see him much lately, been busy with school and work. but apparently this freaking happened... I'm literally shocked he would have done this. but yeah, totally with you on this one. You never know what someone can do... :/

    • Well, now you know what he can do. Might want to distance yourself from that one...

  • Happens all the time, always have. Gay men--young mostly; the grownups have little patience for this--know that closeted men tend to open up after a few drinks, so they take advantage.

No big deal, except that if you have to get drunk to have the sex you want, you're losing a war with yourself.

P.S.: I get wasted, stick my tongue down some dude's throat, and *I* was raped? Whatever.

    • lawlz

  • If (a) this actually happened and (b) the straight guy did not consent and (c) the straight guy knows how to find the gay guy, then he owes him a week long beating with a garden hose full of birdshot and a workover with a sack full of cactus pads.

IMHO, the prospects for successful criminal prosecution are slim.

  • Me thinks you don't have to say "friend"

Me thinks you can be open about whatever you like and desire:)

    • once again, not me lmao. Would you bother to think if I was I would have posted this under anonymous? (unless you go further and suggest I didn't to make it seem as though I did (and so the vicious circle of assumptions begin...)) Like I know that's rape, but I just can't see him the same way again. He's a cool guy but after hearing this, it weirds me out.. its sick and just wrong on so many levels. :/just curious if you were in my position what you would do/feel/say.

    • That's really gross...first of all,he raped the guy, second of all...he told and I suppose he told you in a non chalant way... If I was in your position I wouldn't be friends with the guy anymore. Not someone who can be trusted or respected

    • actually I heard it from his best friend whos a chick lol. it wasn't pleasant to hear that's for sure.

  • He wasn't sure he was awake? that's called rape.

    • from what I heard, the rapee was really drunk (obviously) and the gay guy was too, but did rape him (and had conscious knowledge that he did then and after)

  • i think you're the gay friend

  • sh*t happens

    • it probably did.

  • its called flippin.. but in this situation its called rape.. that sucks for you bro

    • yeah sucks for me mr. anon.

  • Which one were you?

    • the one who heard the story over a year later about this and thinking to myself "good thing I only knew him since march". -_- nobody likes a smartass... Unless its me ha ha :p

  • Just remember it the next time your tempted to drink to much. think of it this way, your experience base just expanded.

    • hardy har mr. anonymous. Would you think I'd be like you too?

  • That sounds like rape. If the other person is too drunk to consent it is rape. I hope the straight guy has the guts to file charges.

    • happened over a year ago. don't know the guy in the first place but seems like too little too late.
