Just answered a sort of similar question. If a push up bra is the deciding factor in the decision for a guy to date you it means he's interested in your breasts and as such you do do run the risk of disappointing him when the finds out the goods don't match what's described on the packaging. If it's not a major factor in his decision he won't be disappointed, but there was no point in wearing the push up in the first place anyway. Basically if you try to pretend to be what you're not you will always run the risk of shocking him but tbh most guys are wise enough to know if your breasts are meant to sit like that or if there's a bit of extra support going on.
So do what makes you comfortable and if you want an honest opinion ask your current/next boyfriend or friend his opinion and whether he could guess what you actually looked like while you wear a push up.

Some guys think it's false advertising but if push came to shove and your boobs were out, I doubt they'd be complaining. Boobs are boobs.

My eyes don't really fall for the optical illusion of push-up bras. Don't get me wrong, it makes boobs look fantastic! It just doesn't make them look larger to me, just squished together and pushed up. Which looks great!

all girls do this, thus guys arnt really surprised. even the most epic of boobs often turn out to be sagged, so its rarely truly flattering when the bra comes off.
i woudl say for most guys, if he has gotten far enough to get your bra off, I don't think he is going to be upset. ;)
I think only your boyfriend would see your boobs when unleashed. Personally I don't have a problem with push up bras, I think they make your boobs sit more nicely.
I kind of feel sad when girls tell me they wear padded or push up bras. I'm not sad that their breasts are smaller than I originally thought - I honestly couldn't care less. It makes me sad that they feel like they have to increase their bust size to be attractive.
I, at least, know the *exact* breast size of any woman within my line of sight, unless she's wearing some kind of bodysuit or armor. Just how I'm wired, I guess.
The push-up bra won't shock me--I've already accounted for it.
Exactly, I account for the push up bra when I see a girl or if I'm with someone now. I have walked through the bra sections of many a store and it's a real challenge to find one without any padding unless it's the old lady or huge 44 size thing.
I like push-ups. More for the viewing, if you ask me. Would I be shocked or disappointed? Nope. I know that girls wear push-ups and I couldn't care less. Please continue to wear them. Cleavage and boobs are good.
They definitely make for nicer viewing. I would be a little disappointed once I realized what was going, whether that was before or after it came off. Still it wouldn't be a deal breaker or anything like that.
They are pleasing, but I don't really think it's a must.

As long as your boobs aren't weirdly mis shapen is someway (like flat pancakes or something).. your size, what ever it is isn't gonna be a problem.
