Does semen stain sheets?

My wedding night is coming up & we’ll be having sex unprotected so I know it will be on the sheets. Should we just use a towel?

  • Stain implies that it doesn't wash out.

It washes out just fine. It may show on dark colored sheets, but not on white or light sheets.

But if it shows, just wash the sheets. Presto, clean again.

Vaginal secretions can also leave a bit of a white trail.

    Again, just wash it out.

  • It stains but it washes out. If you’re that worried about it, just lay a towel underneath you to catch the leakage.

  • It is very easy to avoid getting it on the sheets. Also it's your wedding night who gives a hoot? If you can't make an exception that night then you are in for a boring life together.

    • They’re nice sheets so we are trying to avoid a problem. They’re bought for this special night but we’d enjoy using them again together

  • So this is what is on your mind for your wedding night? Forget the sheets, have the best intimate sex possible and then burn the bed if you have to afterwards.

    • We got special sheets for this night. We’ve discussed the details for a while now.

  • If you're a virgin then blood could be more nasty than sperm. A large towel may help a lot.

But hey, don't stress. It's just sex. Made love!

    And congratulations!

  • It doesn't stain... meaning if you wash it, it won't leave a mark.

But if he cums all over the place, or it leaks out of your vag onto the sheets, it will leave a dried white patch... similar to dried milk stains.

  • In a very rare case my semen stains remained 'forever' on one of my sheets, otherwise they wash-off.
Another case could be that due to wetness, the colour of mattress stains on the sheet and that may be troublesome.
Any which ways, if you've bought this sheet for your "special occasion", then I'd personally suggest that if it stains, treat it as a first- night memory.. a memoir of this special night 😉 and just enjoy the special occasion on this special bedsheet because that is why you bought it, right? Why stress out unnecessarily for it?
Otherwise, you may use another piece of cloth under specific/concerned area to avoid any chance of staining. FYI, semen stains small wash-off. I've been staining my sheet since years now.. I love doing that 😉 and it washes-off. As I mentioned earlier the only risk could be staining of sheets with mattress colour or the like.

  • You're going to be getting it on your wedding night, maybe for the first time, and you're worried about discoloring the sheets? Priorities...

    • Our concerns, not mine alone. My husband to be bought these sheets & he asked me about using a towel etc. We want to keep our nice things nice

    • Y'all are incredibly cheap and uptight, and probably well suited for one another. Mazel tov.

    • Yes taking good care of our special things is cheap. Not everyone lets their things be ruined because they don’t care.

  • It washes out. If you are in a hotel, does it matter?

  • Yes.
