His penis get so hard it hurts is this normal?

And it won't stop being extremely hard until I go away from him for a couple of minutes. I only had sex once and the guy was smaller. Me and him have been trying to have sex for almost a month but it hurts so much due to his girth and the fact that he is so incredibly hard.   • You just need to really use some lube so won't hurt much and you can be stretched with him so it will work out eventually.
