Is it cancer? Please help?

I have a lump on the area between my legs, not on my vagina, but like in the area separating my vagina with my butt? It has been there for four months and it doesn't hurt, it feels soft when I touch it? Can it be cancer or what? Also, I have been experiencing a heavy coughing for some time now, like five months? Can't take my breathe properly? I know I should go to a doctor but I'm too scared to go to one, a part of me is too scared to find out if it's true or not.. I try applying creams (always worked out for me when I had any swellings down there!) but it doesn't want to go away.. I had my blood tested this week (CBC) I was wondering what to find high if I had cancer? My mother used to have cancer and my uncle has it, is there any chance that I have it as well?

the best thing to do is to go see your GP if you seek medical advice best to do it through a qualified doctor, as many here do not have medical qualifications I assume and without the proper tests anyway even if they had the qualifications would be ill advised to assist you other than to advise you to seek medical help from someone qualified in the field... as they would need to physically check then refer you so a biopsy could be taken

Since it's in that location and is soft, it's probably a cyst. I suggest you have it examined by a doctor.

If it's a cyst, can it be dangerous if left untreated? i kind of feel shy letting the doctor examine this place?

It can grow and become very uncomfortable, and there is a chance it can become malignant. If you are uncomfortable with your doctor examine it, perhaps consider a different doctor or nurse. If your doctor is male, choosing a female to examine you might be easier. But I do suggest you have it examined just to be sure of what it is if nothing else.

It could just be a swollen lymph node which are located in the groin

You’re welcome. I got worried about mine at first and it kind of moved around when I feel it. But I figure it’s just a swollen lymph node or something harmless. If it ever hurts I will go to a doctor

Go to the doctor ASAP so if its cancer you can beat before it's too late.

Maybe. The only way to know for sure is to see a doctor. You can't get a medical diagnosis like that on the internet... Especially not a site like this.
