Is it embarrassing for a guy to buy a pregnancy test?

Should I feel embarrassed my girlfriend asked me to pick one up from the supermarket?

  • Why should you be embarrassed? Because the person at the checkout will know you had sex?

You're just one in several billion people who have and the person at the checkout probably had sex at some point too... Or will soon enough.

The chance of pregnancy goes hand in hand with sex and since sex is a normal biological function for humanity, you should feel no more embarrassed buying a pregnancy test than you would buying a pack of toilet paper.

If someone decides to make a scene because you picked one up, tell em to get bent, grow the fk up and mind their own God damn business.

    • Besides, the person at the checkout is too busy to be bothered with what you buy, will just swip and scan whatever you got... And no doubt seen far worse purchased, like exlax, lube, extra small condoms, hemeroid cream, and other oddities.

  • No (it' s not like they know you personally), and anyhow it's obvious why.

  • i wouldn't be embarrassed who will see it just the check out clerk if so do self check out

  • If you are, it probably means yo are too young to be having sex in the first place.

  • No. It's just an item in a shop and no business of anyone else's. I've been into supermarkets to buy pads for my fiancee as part of our weekly shop and also been in there for haemorrhoid cream and condoms over the years. Doesn't bother me.

  • No, you don't need to feel embarrassed.
