This guy I've been seeing (not dating) for close to a year told me one time during sex to stop scratching his back, when I asked why he said it hurt. I automatically thought it was because he didn't want other girls to see since he's supposedly such a tough guy... So why would some scratches hurt right? Today we saw a show where a guy was hurt and he mentioned that he thought that wouldn't hurt so I brought up "that wouldn't hurt but scratches during sex does?" he very sarcastically said "no I said that so my 11 other girlfriends don't see it" and rolled his eyes... I don't think he was being sarcastic.

Some people enjoy it, others don't. I've had some bf's who loved it when I did that and two who weren't fans of any pain during sex at all. One guy I slept with actually turned out to have a girlfriend and he still let me leave marks. I highly doubt he's cheating on you but when you say things like that you probably make him feel like a p**** for not being able to deal with scratching during sex. Attacking his masculinity is never a good way to go hun.

scratches on the back feel amazing I don't know why they are all saying it hurts. I was in a similar situation, the guy made clear I could not scratch or bite him (I like it rough so this was a little annoying) and of course, he was seeing other people, and obviously didn't want any marks on him.

Scratches, especially on a place as sensitive as the back, hurt a lot. Pretty sure that would be a mood killer, maybe even a deal breaker. I have a high pain tolerance, and even I don't think that sounds so fun. Go out and eat some hot wings if pain is your thing.

It's a matter of degree. Nails across the back, OK. Blood on my good shirt, not OK. You want to know where you fall on that spectrum, and adjust if you can.

Um... scratches do hurt. They hurt like sh*t. I'm not into it at all. And its not because other girls will see, its because WHO THE HELL WANT PAINFUL SCRATCHES ON THEM.? no matter how tough you are.
