I want to circumcise myself. (Female) how to make it safe?

I want to get circumcised or get a labisplasty/removal of clitoral hood. I do not want to remove my clitoris. It’s mostly like a male circumcision removing the loose skin. The doctor wants to charge me 6000$ no kidding. It’s an elective surgery. I tried to cut some costs (not possible). Now I thought it’s just skin I could cut it myself off! What do i have to do to make it as safe as possible?

The best way to make it as safe as possible is to not do it!
Its a surgery. Why do you think it costs that much. If it were as simple as removing a small amount of skin then it would be done with local anesthetic and in the doctors office. What you are trying to do may end up very badly if you attempt it by yourself. You might misjudge and end up cutting nerve endings and then never be able to feel your clit at all. Is that worth the risk

Perhaps if you can get your regular doctor to say that it is a medical necessity then it might be covered for you. All in all, if it will help you have a good life, is $6000 really that much? I mean I know it will take time to save for it, but in the long run you will feel better, have better sex and not have to worry about anything going wrong if you do it on yourself

Why would you want to do that? It will either make your clitoris less sensitive or you would rub the hell out of it by it being exposed. You have that hood for a reason.

Do more research. Speak to more gynocologists. Try to find another doctor. Figure out what the procedure will actually involve.
If you are that desperate, see if a tattoo parlour would be able to help you.

Women in Muslim countries get it hacked off with rusty knives by their fathers, brothers and male relatives. I would say, don't do anything yourself and if it is something that would truly make you happy then surely happiness is worth $6000
