First, even though I should probably be saying no to the drinking, smoking and partying at 16 (which I do). I must give you cudo's on your ability to do all that and still be a virgin, there are grown women who take one drink and can't keep their legs closed lol. I was like you on the sex part, no one believed I was a virgin. Every last one of my boyfriends were in high school unfortunately since 6th grade and I was never without a very cute older boyfriend. Everyone swore I was not a virgin but like you the guys were never worth it and I was more afraid of getting pregnant. I actually ended up not losing my virginity until I was 22 (not saying I recommend that but I must admit it was fun, telling guys I was a virgin at 22 was an immediate sparked interest and they would throw themselves at me to be the first lmbo) but it should be with someone that if you think to yourself that whether you make it as a couple or not this is a really good guy cause you are going to remember it for the rest of your life. You'll remember it even more if he's a jerk. Mine was a jerk and I regret it every time I think about it. I don't think at your age you are going to find a guy that isn't a jerk you may have to wait on that one.
Ya I agree you need some confidence. Also, I thinks its totally normal! I think it also depends on the persons values. Are you ready to give it up to just about anyone or saving it for someone really special. It depends on the person, but ya I think its totally normal.

Your still a young lady, if you want to have sex, think about it and only do it with a guy you love. But it's perfectly normal to not want to have sex at your age.
